- In this video, we take a look at my brother Ramons new to him ford f100 pickup truck. this is a really nice truck that has been sitting for a couple of years. we take it for a cruise and see how it runs and drives. my brother plans on making this a very good and reliable daily driver.

My girlfriend. Back in 1974 Add a 68. It was yellow, so they call little yellow. I think we're gonna go anywhere Down around the river through the gravel.

Replaced the dog 360 with a 390 in my 76 High Boy. All the difference in the world.

I had a 69 F250 w/360, Camper Special 4 speed, quickly changed out to a station wagon 390, 4brl and Blackjack Headers...
Converted it to 1 ton suspension and GMC 18" duals by enlarging axel holes and fenders for clearance. Top end unlimited. Out ran the cop's with that puppy...

That's his wife's falcon. He plans to put a 351 Cleveland and a T5 transmission in it. It runs and drives as is with the original engine and 3 on the tree. They drive it all over how it is now. Little car is in great shape.

I still have my first pickup, a 1976 ford F-250 highboy 4x4. I bought it in 1979 for $3,000 It had a 300 six/ 4 speed that i swapped for a 429 TJ about 1990. Just been sitting up here in Montana since 2000. I just can't sell it!! One of these days Ill get it going, it ran fine when I parked it so it shouldn't be too tough.

I had a 69 same colour as this one. It was basic as you could get. In-line, 3 on the tree, arm strong steering, standard brakes. It didn’t even have a radio, 2 wheel drive but it would go thru pretty much everything a 4 wheel drive would go.
They are definitely some good tough old trucks. 👍

If that gearbox is an old Np435 don't need no dang clutch other then stop/start once he gets used to it.
I would paint both of those old trucks that same color also with the trailer same color

Love the Life maybe a good idea to do more often the microphones are pretty good I did hear some like overspeeds from maybe the lag of one of the phones or whatever it was around you could hear a double voice of you but other than that the sound and the quality was awesome And as far as about the event you went to I actually like it I love burnout competitions especially Robbie Layton when he does his burnouts with his new pacer and Cletus as well maybe you should bank you a burnout vehicle or turn your truck into a burnout vehicle never know project project but you do your programming the way you do it I love all of it
Awesome, thank you for the feedback. We are talking about making a dedicated burnout truck. Not a lot of people know this, but I have a twin turbocharged Chevy S10 drag truck. Complete with racing seats and roll cage. We have been considering finishing the truck and making it into a competition burnout/skid car like Robbys. The truck is about 75% done as it sits. It's been sitting in my backyard for 2 years, just waiting for me to do something with it.
Brings back High-school days memories. Yep. My buddy Johnny. His bumpside was red.
Those rear main seals though are something else to deal with.

Man, I really hope you don't CV that one. swap the beams out for 73-79 disc brakes and power steering, best thing I ever did was add those to my 66 F-100. If you find a power steering truck for parts, pull the column, inner and outer firewall brackets. they are different from non PS trucks. Cheers!

Yes, it is as far as we know. But we don't really want to change much. He just wants to drive it as is. Mostly, he just wants to upgrade the brakes, is all.
Ford did not put 390 in pick up
I'm not sure if this is correct, but I've been told in the past that they did put them in the camper special pickups. We were told by the previous owner that it was a 390. Either way, it's an FE engine for sure, and it runs really well.
The 390 FE was an option in gen 5 series F series pickups. Because it has a two barrel carburetor it could be a 360.
They offered the 390 in pickup's up till 1976
