    Hello! Glad i found this video, really helpfull! I am an st185 alltrack turbo owner for approx 4 months and i am very happy to have this car in my hands! The only modifications this car has is a full exhaust system which i really like it from the previous owner. Was thinking of upgrading the turbo as you did. Do you think that this will cause damage to my engine? And what else do you think that would be good to gain little bit of power? Thank you very much for your time!

      Hello, sorry for the delayed reply. Upgrading your turbocharger will not damage your engine. It is the increase in boost pressure that can. But you don't necessarily have to increase boost pressure much with a new turbo as the increase in efficiency is a benefit in its self. Ultimately detonation is what will kill a motor, so if you have enough fuel, enough air and a good tune, you should be OK. The amount of Fuel you can push is going to be the limiting factor to the amount of air (boost) you can push. With factory computer, injectors, fuel pump, etc you would not want to push much past 14psi - even with an upgraded turbo. This video is shows exactly that -> th-cam.com/video/gCKwdYA7KlI/w-d-xo.html

    Have you ever thought of using the water sprays on the intercooler radiator?

    • @wiltonsgarage438
      @wiltonsgarage438  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hadn't actually, but that is not a bad idea.
      The water to air intercooler is only as good as the heat exchanger keeping the water cool.
      A spray system at the front of the car, onto the heat exchanger, is not a bad idea.

      @@wiltonsgarage438 My car has them already fitted, but they are non functioning, bit like the ST 205 anti-lag system.
      Mine are fitted in behind the aluminium brace for the front bumper.
      There is also a pump fitted as well.

    Hi. How the bov sounds with recycling? Regards.

      You do not hear it at all. That was the reason I went re-circulated, I did not want the BOV noise.

      @@wiltonsgarage438 Thank you. I have a Greddy FV bov and I'm going to recycle it because the car is not smooth when I drive it softly.

    Hi ! Is this AFM deleter a custom made?

    • @wiltonsgarage438
      @wiltonsgarage438  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, custom made, but very simple bit of fabrication. Any welder could fab it up.
