@@snehal7293 i just follow the forms requirements and i answerd the questions honestly and i attached reccomendations from three professors (they asked for two) and certificate of english conformity, and i wrote about Myself my career & my plan if i will be accepted in the program it was very simple plan and real (i wrote what i truly want to achieve in my work) as well as i attached my parents passports with my passport in addition to all required documents, i passed the first interview then i had another interview with the university professors n they informed me few days ago that i am going to join the program. My best wishes for all participants.

In our schools system the grades are on 20 points well i know how to convert my grades into a percentage but my problem is : apart from the normal grades we have a regional exam in the end of the 11th grade and a national exam (graduation exam) in the end of the 12th grade and they are the most important exams that decide your final graduation grade. So my question is when applying should i submit only the regional and national exams grades OR the 10th, 11th ,12th AND the other two exams

Second- I’m a Mexican student planning to apply for the 2022 scholarship; however, I’ve attended an online high school that uses a different teaching system (23 modules/subjects with a duration of 1 month each). We use a regular grading system (0-100), I can translate the modules into semesters, attach my grades, and include my valid high school diploma. Would I have to add any kind of additional document for my grades/education to be valid or taken into consideration? Or would I be outright rejected? Thank you very much!

Hello sir, Your videos help me the most. Actually sir, I have some questions regarding gks U. Questions 1- On the grades table of the application form, they mentioned that I've to fill the high school grades, merits, GPA and score percentile. In my country, high school starts from class (6-10) total 5 years. After that, class 11, 12 and a board exam this 3 years are called college period. So what should I write in the table. Do I have to fill all the grades of 8 years? (Government takes total 4 board exams . In class 5,8,10 and after class 12) Question 2- I've passed the last board exam in 2020. Bt government couldn't take the exam physically due to covid situation in my country. So Government gave us certificate and transcript based on our last 2 board exams which held in class 8 and 10 ( an average gpa of class 8 and 10). So how can I explain this to them? Should I write down the situation and send them with the application form ? Sorry for asking too many questions T.T

Hello Daniel, if you do not mind clarifying, I have a question regarding the countries eligible for applying as an undergraduate student under the KGSP. Are people from native English speaking countries eligible to apply? While researching for more details about this program, I have seen many cases of alumni who were born and educated in the United States and proceeded to attend a Korean university after winning the scholarship. However, when reviewing the chart posted at 2:54, I could not find any native English speaking countries such as Australia, England, or the United States listed. Is there something I am missing? Are those countries only eligible for pursuing graduate degrees? I appreciate the work put into uploading these videos. They are very helpful and highly informational. Hello Mr. College Concierge. I have some queries for which I am unable to find answers anywhere. The following are the queries. 1. Regarding the citizenship proof for parents, if my parents do not have passport or birth certificates or family register but are citizens of the country by birth what proof can I use? They have Scheduled Tribe certificates though which is used in India indicate that they belong to said tribe of the country. Would that serve as proof of citizenship? 2. In regards to grades, if my high school or country does not usually give cumulative grades of the entire high school years and instead focuses only on the marks obtained in the high school passing exam in the last year of high school should I still get a cumulative grade transcript from my school? They usually give progress report cards every semester or at the end of one academic year.

as far as i know, in September they will post a new guideline form for 2022 and you have to check the website of the korean embassy in your country and look for the gks notice board and there will be a deadline attached with the doc

It has to be physically submitted to the embassy. If you're living in different area, you should sent it through post office or sth. 💨Just every document has to be sent physically.
Thanks a lot for making these videos! Could you please help me with filling up the GPA section of form 1 as an A-LEVEL student? I'm registered under the Cambridge International Education board which does not use a GPA grading system. Moreover, due to the pandemic, predicted grades were used to award us our A-LEVEL results and so I do not have marks on my certificate to specify which percentile my grades fall in. Lastly, if I were to use my mock grades from school on behalf of my A-level grades, would it be permissible for me to only fill up the boxes for years 3,4, and 5? These three years are equivalent to my O-levels, AS-Levels and A-levels respectively. Please also let me know what I should do if I only have two semesters to list, or none at all.

Namaste sir i am Anushree , Sir i have been a student who does not have many CCA certificates ( extra curricular activity ) ....at the most i have 3 and one of them is just a participation certificate . My grades have been kind of okay. My latest result had 88% out of 100% ( That's ofc anushree u don't need to explain ! 🤦) So will my impression be okay or wud i be considered a dumb. Also , i think of writing statement of purpose and persnol statement , you know just to make it attractive can i write the first two sentences in Korean . I just have two questions, I've read in some articles that because of the pandemic we have to send the documents via E-mail, but, reading the application guidelines (of the last year) I didn't see anything about this, I'm going to apply this year, so I'm preparing all the documents etc.. And, the other one is, If I have to send them via E-mail, I still have to put the copies of the documents or is not necessary?

Questions 1-
On the grades table of the application form, they mentioned that I've to fill the high school grades, merits, GPA and score percentile. In my country, high school starts from class (6-10) total 5 years. After that, class 11, 12 and a board exam this 3 years are called college period. So what should I write in the table. Do I have to fill all the grades of 8 years? (Government takes total 4 board exams . In class 5,8,10 and after class 12)
Question 2-
I've passed the last board exam in 2020. Bt government couldn't take the exam physically due to covid situation in my country. So Government gave us certificate and transcript based on our last 2 board exams which held in class 8 and 10 ( an average gpa of class 8 and 10). So how can I explain this to them? Should I write down the situation and send them with the application form ?

Hello Daniel, if you do not mind clarifying, I have a question regarding the countries eligible for applying as an undergraduate student under the KGSP. Are people from native English speaking countries eligible to apply? While researching for more details about this program, I have seen many cases of alumni who were born and educated in the United States and proceeded to attend a Korean university after winning the scholarship. However, when reviewing the chart posted at 2:54, I could not find any native English speaking countries such as Australia, England, or the United States listed. Is there something I am missing? Are those countries only eligible for pursuing graduate degrees?

1. While filling in the marks on the GKS-U application form, there are 5 columns. Does it means we have to fill in the marks from grade 9 to12???

Hello Mr. College Concierge. I have some queries for which I am unable to find answers anywhere. The following are the queries.
1. Regarding the citizenship proof for parents, if my parents do not have passport or birth certificates or family register but are citizens of the country by birth what proof can I use? They have Scheduled Tribe certificates though which is used in India indicate that they belong to said tribe of the country. Would that serve as proof of citizenship?
2. In regards to grades, if my high school or country does not usually give cumulative grades of the entire high school years and instead focuses only on the marks obtained in the high school passing exam in the last year of high school should I still get a cumulative grade transcript from my school? They usually give progress report cards every semester or at the end of one academic year.

as far as i know, in September they will post a new guideline form for 2022 and you have to check the website of the korean embassy in your country and look for the gks notice board and there will be a deadline attached with the doc

Thanks a lot for making these videos! Could you please help me with filling up the GPA section of form 1 as an A-LEVEL student? I'm registered under the Cambridge International Education board which does not use a GPA grading system. Moreover, due to the pandemic, predicted grades were used to award us our A-LEVEL results and so I do not have marks on my certificate to specify which percentile my grades fall in.
Lastly, if I were to use my mock grades from school on behalf of my A-level grades, would it be permissible for me to only fill up the boxes for years 3,4, and 5? These three years are equivalent to my O-levels, AS-Levels and A-levels respectively. Please also let me know what I should do if I only have two semesters to list, or none at all.

This year TOPIK will be conducted on October 17 so we will get our results on November 25th. But each year the last date of submission for the documents will be around October 15.
Will the government grant the permission to submit the topik scores after the result ?

Sir i have been a student who does not have many CCA certificates ( extra curricular activity ) ....at the most i have 3 and one of them is just a participation certificate . My grades have been kind of okay. My latest result had 88% out of 100% ( That's ofc anushree u don't need to explain ! 🤦)
