The neighbor kind of had to escape to the museum because the cops were already investigating him. The other townsfolk just so happened to be helping the neighbor cover his tracks for some reason. The reason the kid cares when the neighbor is crushed by the hanging statue is because this is his dad afterall. He kind of realizes that his dad is the only person left in his life at this point and he still loves him. The cliffhanger ending honestly ruins it for me though.
Would love it if this channel played Life is Strange. The idea of the u.s presidents playing a life is strange game would be petty funny 😄 Maybe a possible Bill Clinton or George Bush add on as a 4th commentary.
