It a historic and lively district with a lot of stores, mid-rises buildings, high-rises (so far, just a few), a train station, buses, courthouses, banks, offices, and more. (Some people call it Downtown, but officially is not called Downtown).
Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA is located in Union County, New Jersey; and Elizabeth is the county seat. It has a population of over 135,000 and is about 13 square miles. Is located just south of Newark and just west of Staten Island (Staten Island is part of New York City), and about 15 miles southwest of Manhattan, New York City.
