    After this video got out, IRCC has come up with a new update, advising people with expired COPRs NOT to raise any webform. Here is the link that says the same: bit.ly/2XhSbK0
    👉Do let us know if your COPR expired and what steps have YOU taken to get the Authorization Letter❓

    Make sure you go through the description box to get the documents we used when we raised the "Ready to Travel" webform.
    To the people who have raised webform and yet to see progress on their extension, we know and understand how frustrating it is to wait for an update from IRCC. However, we honestly feel that you will also be getting your COPR extensions and will be able to travel to Canada very soon.
    We are a growing channel and recognize that we have room for improvement. So if you have any feedback or any queries to resolve, make sure you comment below. Rest assured that we will be reading all your comments and will be answering any questions you have.

    This is very very helpful and detailed explanation. Quick questions -
    1) When did you get your COPR approval ( first time copr)?
    2) Did your medicals expire
    3) Did they directly send the authorization letter without four pointer email?

    • @choosecanada9358
      @choosecanada9358  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you Sai for your positive comments.
      1. COPR issue date is 09-Jan-2020
      2. Officially speaking, medicals would expire on the same date as COPR expiry. However, not sure if they automatically extended or anything. Hope that answers your question.
      3. We got AL directly. No 4 pointer email.

      Hi Abhay... Thank you for your comment.. You can explain that you'll seek help from a friend to deliver your groceries/medicines. If not, you can tell that you'll depend on online ordering. Make sure you specify apps which are specific to the location you're planning to stay in. For more details, you can download the sample documents we have given in the description box. Hope this answers your question :)

    Cheers to you guys for taking the time to spread the knowledge. Having said that, have you guys any idea as to how Candidates with expired COPR that have been issued after March 18th can travel to Canada? IRCC website doesn't seem to mention anything on this. I have received my Passport Request on 9th Nov and submitted my Passport on 10th Nov. I expect to have it by end of November. My medical expires on 4th of Jan 2021, and I presume my COPR validity would be the same. I plan on moving In april 2021. Appreciate any feedback.

    • @choosecanada9358
      @choosecanada9358  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Srikar, thank you for your positive feedback.
      As you have rightly said, IRCC website has not updated any details for people with COPR issued after 18-Mar-2020. Hence, we do not have any additional information as well on that.
      However, the good news is that, your COPR will most likely have an additional validity of 6 months or so after your medicals expiry date. Which means your COPR will most likely expire only around July 2021. Of course, this changes from case to case, and you need to wait till you get your COPR on hand to confirm this.

    Hey thanks for your video, helped a lot. I got one question, my situation is similar, but it is my kid who holds an expired copr. Me and my wife have already landed as PR in canada. So we are wondering if our kid (also has valid visitor visa on her passport) can travel to Canada now as a visitor, and then wait for AL to land at one the the Canada/USA border at a later date? If not, do I have to go back to my home country and bring my kid to Canada for the landing process?

    • @choosecanada9358
      @choosecanada9358  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Aaron,
      From my limited understanding of Visitor visa, it will be issued to your son only if the officer is confident that he will come back to his home country and is visiting Canada temporarily. So having a PR Visa in his passport will rule out his chance of getting a visitor visa. Of course, this is not a hard set rule and you can still try your idea.
      In case your son DOES get a Visitor visa, I'm honestly not sure about the process of getting COPR issued again. But I can't imagine it being a problem for them. Better contact IRCC (via webform and phone) once your son lands in Canada.
      While you apply for Visitor visa, in parallel, I'd also suggest to raise the webform to get AL. Since the purpose of your son's move to Canada would be Family reunification, you might be given preference over others. So make sure you mention family reunification in the webform. Also make sure you mail IRCC.COVID-TravelExemptions-Exemptionsdevoyage-COVID.IRCC@cic.gc.ca once you raise webform. This is a dedicated email for issuing AL for family reunification cases.
      Hopefully the information I have provided is useful :) make sure you Like this video and subscribe if not done already. Hope your son reaches Canada soon

    Hi there, so my COPR expired this 20th October, I messaged IRCC using the webform to let them know I’m ready to travel in December. I have sent about three webforms in November and in December. I only heard from them in December on the 2nd and they sent an email asking if I’m ready to travel. It asked when I’m ready to travel , if the flight I’m coming with has more than one stop, if I had a 14 day quarantine plan, how many family members I’m travelling with and if I had any extra information I want IRCC to know. They asked that I reply within 10days if I’m ready to travel to Canada. I replied immediately after I received the email. On the 2nd Dec. I want to know how long do they take to get back after answering all these questions. Thanks
    P.s thanks for your video, it’s very informative

      Hey Prajakta, I don't think I have the knowledge to answer that. However, I can say, rather than constantly looking at your profile for changes, it's better to go about your life and just regularly check just your emails. Even if there's a new message in your account, you'll definitely get an email about it. I say this because I have been there and checking our account can make us really anxious. So it's better if you can redirect your focus to something else. Hope that makes sense. In case I am being presumption, I'm sorry. I only intend to help :)

      Hi guys . Regarding the same query , my applications still dsnt have any messages updated since 10 days . I spoke to ircc customer service. He said Delhi office is handling this so contact them . Any experience of dealing with Delhi office ? Do let me know if you know any timelines, how they respond etc.

      @choosecanada9358  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Shikha, as far as timelines are concerned, no one can tell for sure. Contacting Delhi office would not really help either. We got generic responses only when we contacted them. Most of the times, they don't even pick the calls. However, you can still try. Below are their contact information:
      E-mail: delhi@international.gc.ca
      Phone: +91 11 4178 2000
      I'd advice you to be patient, there's literally nothing you can do from your end. Calling people will just not speed up the process. Give it time and you will get your extension.
      Hope you get your extension soon. All the best :)

      @@choosecanada9358 thanks for the advice, but my email mentions that if I face technical difficulties then I should raise a webform and inform them. Hence I did. hello .. is it better to book direct flight from Delhi or can I book Bangalore-Toronto which will have stops in other country.
    Also would you recommend Air India or Air Canada?

    • @choosecanada9358
      @choosecanada9358  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's always better to have no additional international layover apart from what is needed. So, go for flights that take the path "Bangalore-Delhi-Toronto" to avoid any unnecessary hassle.
      As for choosing between Air India and Air Canada! It's only a matter of personal preference. I'd prefer Air India because it allows more luggages even in the basic price range.

    What about people whose COPR expired after March 18th?

    • @choosecanada9358
      @choosecanada9358  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Saneel,
      Canada had stopped issuing COPRs from March for a few months and started issuing just recently. However, there were a few cases where people got COPRs after March 18th AND got expired. If your COPR is issued after March 18th and you are ready to travel, it's better if you raise a webform and ask them what to do (even if COPR is not expired).
      As of now, IRCC has not given any information about COPRs issued after March 18, but hopefully they will be updating the website soon.
