    and now I know how to use the close on conversion .. Kadence definatly needs more in-depth articles/videos on all of these 'tiny' facts .. GREAT Video.

      Yeah, agreed! Slowly but surely I'm making videos and writing blog post tutorials to teach the intricacies of Kadence :) Thanks, Andy!

    Super helpful and something I definitely wouldn't have been able to DIY without a tutorial! Question - will this work if you run ads on your site? I'm guessing it would conflict with the bottom banner right?

    • @StartBlogging101
      @StartBlogging101  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Naomi! You can always tweak where you want the button to show up. So, if there is a bottom banner that would be in the way of the button, you could place the button higher up so it isn't covered by an ad :)

    Good practice.
    I would like a sidebar version with scrolling indicator on desktop. Is it possible?

    • @StartBlogging101
      @StartBlogging101  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Stephen! I have another Table of Contents video that shows you how to have a Table of Contents in your sidebar that sticks as users scroll down your post. th-cam.com/video/qnXKp3g-LwA/w-d-xo.html

    I like the hook element for my table of content but because I am with Ezoic, Ads are showing up inside the table of content hence messing up my layout :(

    i placed page list instead of table of contents: the icon does have the correct conversion link (#...) but then when its time to select the icon (no window opens) but the icon is positions as your webinar, etc... other than am using kadence block 3 of the Beta Version) really do not know where to go on this unless you look to see about any new comments. :)

    Do i need my theme to be the Kadence theme?

    Well.... It seems the Kadence Conversions plug in is no longer available. SOOOO... what else can I do?

    • @StartBlogging101
      @StartBlogging101  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Karen - The Kadence Conversions plugin is still available. Where are you seeing that it's not available?

  • @WalterZelhofer
    @WalterZelhofer 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    There's still a bug with the Kadence theme, which you illustrate at 1:40 in your video: You click an item in the table of contents from desktop view and it doesn't scroll to that section, but jumps randomly somewhere else near the title. The bug is caused by adding a fixed element from the Kadence pro theme and appears beyond version 1.1.8 of the theme. If you downgrade to 1.1.8 it'll smoothly scroll to the desired section, but the latest version 1.1.15 and 1.1.16 don't work properly and jump to the wrong location. I've reported the bug and they're supposedly fixing it.

    • @StartBlogging101
      @StartBlogging101  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Walter! Good call. I noticed that as well. The Kadence team already fixed it in Kadence Theme v1.1.17 and it's working great now :)

      @@StartBlogging101 cool! I'll go test it out right now! Thanks for the heads up!

    • @WalterZelhofer
      @WalterZelhofer 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StartBlogging101 tested it (1.1.17) out. The bug still exists when you have an element fixed to bottom of page and it erratically jumps around instead of scrolling where it should. Hopefully they'll get the bug fixed at some point. Until then, downgrade to 1.1.8.

    To have the table of contents cover up the trigger button, add the following css:
    /*Get TOC to cover scroll to top button */
    .kadence-conversion-wrap.kadence-conversion-slide_in {
    z-index: 10000;
    }

    • @StartBlogging101
      @StartBlogging101  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, this is a super nice feature. The Kadence team actually already addressed this as well. There is now a "Z-Index Control" for the conversion item itself in the advanced settings where you can add a value of '10000' and then when the slide-in is trigger, it hides the button. Once the slide-in is dismissed, the button shows back up. Really slick! 😎

      @@StartBlogging101 well of course they did... Lol. Ben and the team are the best. As soon as I discover a problem and a solution, they fix it... Stealing all my glory. Just kidding. Love Kadence!
