I really love louis’ writing. He already said in the beginning of his solo career he was always doing music that could fit on radio instead of what he likes, but now he does what he truly loves, and you can totally see it in his work.

Right when I thought to myself I love Louis' music you said the same thing.Blake listening to Louis has become one of my favorite things now. I am not an expert in music but louis just has something about him and his songs that just draws me in. His songs are so so so relatable and it leaves such a positive impact on me, it gives me hope for a better tomorrow and to find the best even in the worst. Louis' voice is what I imagine vulnerability would sound like. His voice makes me feel like I am somewhere with him, holding his hands tightly as I open up about things that I was always afraid to say out loud and he assures me it's alright,that he is here now and everything will be fine.

He almost always does something on the 28th of every month (usually new merch) and if there’s limited time to something it’s usually 28 hours, he even has 28 tattooed on his fingers! He’s very extra with this number hahaha. It was his kit’s number when he played for his childhood football team, Doncaster Rovers. Btw, he designed the shirt he’s wearing in this festival himself! (And of course it has a big 28 on the back, and a bouquet of flowers, another mini 28, and a yorkshire white rose on the front) 28, along with the xx smiley ◟̽◞̽, is like his brand.

I think one of the things that's so amazing about him as a writer is Lou's solid grasp on build and release. I mean the way he does it is so obviously influenced by pop ballads and I think it really is what makes his work shine. That combination, like you said, between that kinda 90s britpop/ alt rock and the really clean cut 2010s pop is just so satisfying
