Normally, I LOVE Mira's videos but this wasn't my favourite because it feels like a mad sprint. It's so quick moving and would have benefited from your normal addition of taking a break to hug the knees into the chest or window wiper the knees. Getting rid of my hip pain is more than a relentless dash of exercises. Again, love your videos but for people with pain or seeking to strengthen Mira's 18 minute video for hips does the same work but more enjoyably paced. You can add some banded squats or banded leg walks to that one of you have hip instability.
Great question! If you're feeling pain in your lower back during bridging, it's best to pause and adjust. Pilates should challenge you, but not cause pain. Try these tips: 1. Engage your core more by pulling your belly button towards your spine. 2. Start with a smaller range of motion, lifting just slightly off the mat. 3. Make sure your feet are hip-width apart and your knees aren't splaying out. How does it feel when you try these adjustments? If pain persists, it's best to skip bridging for now and consult a healthcare professional. Remember, Pilates is about moving in ways that feel good for your body!
U r funny. And hold. Love your workouts. Not EZ. Had Hip Arthoplasty and it appears my glute medius is atrophied. It has been 6 months and still wobbling when i walk. I cant perform the side leg raise lying on my side. It is very frustrating.
