Don't forget, dark arc Izuku is exhausted the whole arc (he was going on for about 25 days without a proper sleep. Later on, he de ided to not take food)
Edit: What I mean, is that Izuku is weakened during this arc, mentally and physically.
He would have swept class 1a if he wasn't tired also it's called vigilante deku
