Devon Flood I didn’t know what to expect from riding in the car but yes it was so smooth and not a rattle or squeak. I loved the whine of the gearbox and it has such an elegant fell to it
@@TwoGuysandaRide Hence why I want one I remember sitting in one, here in Australia in Darwin city it was a 1937 Terraplane sedan was park for 30 years and cover so other that chalked paint the interior was a little dusty but immaculate but when I sat in it OMG it was so comfortable the Lounge seats in front and back just hugged around my body and from there I have wanted one ever since!
It’s a beautiful car. It’s a shame he had some issues and of course loads of health issues before he could ever enjoy his purchase. Thanks for watching
nice terraplane i have a 1936 terraplane coupe model 62 custom with suicide doors rumble seat & continental tire package on the back has the original interior one repaint back in the 60s when i bought it the last time it was on the road was 1976 very solid great patina 40 years in garage thanks Rick Ludlow Ma
Yes it was! Wow your terraplane coupe sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing and enjoy the ride. Thanks for watching and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button!
He knew that, he was just trying to make a point and tell a story related to the car. Unfortunately the owner Jim, just passed away 2 weeks ago and we'll miss his smile, stories, and love for classic cars!
When My Dad Was Still Single, He Had One Of These Terraplanes Between A 35 Ford And A 39 Studebaker. UNFORTUNATLY The View From Inside The Car Is IMMENSELY Restricted With That HIDEIOUS Visor. I'd MUCH Rather Look At The Sky Than The Underside Of An Obstructive METAL Overhang, And Looks Even WORSE From The Outside. Lose The Visor, And Also Replace The Cars Color, From Looking Like An Unflushed Loaded Toilet.
Thanks for the comment. If you would like to buy it, you can paint it whatever color you wish, the current owner likes this color. Thanks for watching!
@@TwoGuysandaRide Thanks But I Already Have A RED 1938 Plymouth Coupe With The Color Looking MUCH More Appealing Than BROWN. Even Another 37 Terraplanes On U-Tube Had A Maroon Body With Gray Fenders That Looked Pretty Cool. Some Guys, (Like My One Friend), Are Known To Be Completely Color Blind Too.

37 Hudson My Dream Car! Looks like a smooth ride!

I agree, when I sat in the seat it was amazingly comfortable
My favorite although I have never seen one in person. Love the color on this one.
It is an amazing car, thanks for watching!
Very nice Terraplane and a good story of the pitfalls of buying cars over the phone or internet.

Lovely ride in a beautiful car, but the music spoils it. Wrong period and it drowns out the car!
It’s an amazing car. Loved riding in it. Lived all the Art Deco interior details. Thanks for watching
The 70's rock band Foghat. Has a song named Terraplane Blues, which is about this car. So, I had to look it up.
Sweet, we didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing

You buy an old car it’s an old car and what you buy is what you get quit crying .
