  • Monaco 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos wireless system delivers stunning surround sound and more. Featuring front satellite speakers with upfiring drivers to play Dolby Atmos® and Dolby Atmos Music height channels, Monaco 5.1.2 plays sound overhead, as well as all around you.

👏 for showing live video of ANY electronic in use while being reviewed; regardless of how it may sound on viewers devices (listening to this through my phones speakers isn’t going to sound like the Platin Monaco 5.1.2 ) That just doesn’t happen anymore, so kudos and thank you. I ordered this the other day with a tremendous discount…which hasn’t shipped yet so we’ll see if it was a bad listing, but anyway. Did you like this system compared to a higher end soundbar? I have the OG Vizio elevate right now and it’s ok for TV/Movies but man, has it been driving me bananas with the PS5. It just can’t process LPCM or Dolby properly. So I decided to give this bad boy a shot. I really can’t have wires & an AVR, curious if you think this is worth it even at $1,299. Good Video, I’ve watched lots of reviewers as of late and this is good stuff.

Thank you! I havent reviewed any other wireless systems so I dont have anything else to compare it to, but if you spend the time dialing it in, I think you will get a much better experience than your typical soundbar. The subwoofer isnt gonna do a whole lot on the bottom end though.

Does it have a Subwoofer ? Im searching for something similar to the Logitech Z906 or even better the Z5500 but that its wireless on the rear ... any idea ?

How would you compare this to the 5.1 version? Did the up speakers give a true overhead sound if you are 9 feet away from the speakers. . I have a 12/13 foot room.

I havent experienced the 5.1 version. I’ve never been a fan of upfiring speakers. I didnt notice much of a height effect with this system

Great review. Any chance of reviewing the roku 5.1 system? I'm interested in your opinion of that system. Thanks.

There’s a Roku 5.1 system?? Like speaker system?

@@home-theater-review Yes. Its a wireless 5 speaker system with a wireless sub. There's 2 different center channel speakers to choose from and 2 different subs. The most expensive system is around $650 for the whole system and it has a roku streamer built in to the center channel.

If every speaker is connected to power how do they call it wireless?
It seems to me there must be an outlet near each speaker.
    Please educate me.

It’s “wireless” in that there’s no speaker cable needed to connect to an amplifier. But truly wireless, no.
