I got the 1980 edition for Christmas when I was 12 and played it with my younger brother on Sunday afternoons. This turned me on to watching Jeopardy with Alex Trabek that came on at 5:30 after school a few years later. I'd be curious to peruse the axact questions and answers as they appeared in the 1980 edition to see how much the world has changed since then.

I have 2 original Polaroid photos of the guys working on gathering the questions for the original game. They rented 2 ajoining rooms in the hotel in Malton/ mississauga ,my mom worked in at the time. There are stacks and stacks of books everywhere. I went on Wikipedia and it mentions nothing of this at all. I can't find anything online of this either.
