@@djcal1025 I definitely not going to clear it. The clear coat has issues and the always seem to peal up over the old paint. Not sure why but most do. Another one of my videos show how shinny it gets when I run a wheel on it. I do it every spring and by fall its dulls up. Kinda crazy. Thank you for your input and support of the channel.

I'd keep it just the way it is. The patina is perfect. A real eye catcher. Plus, you can drive it anywhere and not have to worry about door dings, bug splatters and rock chips! Take care Jimmy.

I believe the color of your wagon is called Calypso Cream. Please leave as is. It’s beautiful. I have a 57 Belair 2dr sedan with similar patina on original paint.
If she was mine , and I had grown tired of the patina , I would have two choices . Crocus yellow with Onyx black , or '59 Vette Snowcrest white with red, orange , yellow Junior Stocker stripes on it . With my Fenton Gyro aluminum slots for wheels .

Not sure about the factory undercoating. It’s never been touched for the most part if you watch the video I just did a day or so ago, I replaced the headlight dimmer switch and it shows the under side of the wagon. Thank you for the comment and yes yellow. lol.
The Choice Is Yours To Paint Or Not, But If You Paint It You Are Going To Worry About Getting Rock Chips And Other Damage .But On The Roof That Patch Will Have To Go , Sand It Down To The Black Primer And Clear It. What Causes The Side Glass To Bubble Like That, Hot And Cold Weather ?

The glass was like that when I bought the car 10 plus years ago and it has really changed as far as I can tell. @@Robertarmioia very close if not the same. In 1956 they called it Crocus Yellow. Looks a lot like that butternut that was on those Chevelle’s and Camaro in the 60’s.
@@Smitoons for sure. I really like patina cars. But taste does change over time. I never wanted a granny wagon. I only wanted a post of a Nomad. But now the wagons have grown on me. Thank you for your comments.

I think it looks great just the way it is. Maybe clear coat it and polish it till it looks like glass.
