HM Queen Margrethe ll of Denmark, is a Truly Talented & Artistic Person. I don't know if you've seen the Illustrations She did for The Danish Language Publication of J.R.R Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings, but they were Brilliant. She is a Very Talented Artist who understands the Use of Colour & renders a very Life Like believable Image. The Peacock Curtain is Awesome & the Palate is Superb! MOTH & I may have to go Via Denmark on our Next Trip to the UK to catch up with his Family. Yet another Fantastic Video to keep up with the World's Royals. Thank You Alexandra, Oh & by the Way I've never heard you "Butcher The French Language" Yet or any other Language come to that. I've got used to your American English V English English now & that doesn't even Bother me.

The Peacock curtain made based on a design created
by the Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, it is stunning.
Queen Margrethe must have been the only Queen of her time, and even today, who, in parallel with her duties as Head of State, never stopped exploring her own talents, and sharing them with the Society of her Country. Like few others Queens have the intelligence and the necessary “Savoir Faire” and the "Knowledge of Knowing-Being" to be able to achieve such a valid objective.
It can be said that Queen Margrethe achieved as Queen true interaction between herself and her People. Very beautiful to see.

Hello Alexandra; interesting news as always. My comments on Queen Consort Camilla are short; her dress and hat were beautiful. So glad to see King Charles mingling with the guest he sure puts up a happy face and one would not know how the heart aches (his health, his daughter in law's health and his son Harry 😢). Queen Margrethe of Denmark always loved art and it shows, lovely New Peacock Curtain at Tivoli Gardens. I went to Denmark in the 70's and don't remember seeing the original Peacock curtain. Happy Birthday to the Crown Prince of Morocco. Great to see Princess Caroline for a change. Queen Maxima always working always smiling, she is a beauty. Take care have a nice day 💐

Crown Prince Moulay has grown up into a strapping handsome young man. Hope he gets to choose the woman he really loves to help him with duties when the time comes.
I cannot believe he's 21! It seems like yesterday that the royal court announced his birth. Time sure does fly by.🙂
Queen Camila looks regal in that white dress and I like her white and black hat. She always had the best hats. Princess Royal Anne looked amazing in her dark blue outfit. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and The Duke and Duchess of Gloschster looked like they're enjoying them at the garden party. I'm glad that King Charles III was well enough to throw a garden party.
Queen Letizia's houndstooth jacket is too hot for her to wear. The jacket is also too boxy for her figure. But I love the white pants and kittens heels.

She did have extensive back surgery & is 84 or something.
When you say QM you mean Her Majesty Queen Margrethe, not Her Majesty Queen Mary. I think that her decision to abdicate after more than half a century on the throne was triggered by her back surgery which left her needing a walking stick. She always wanted to pursue her considerable artistic talent, which she does to the benefit of the Danish nation. So in a sense she still serves her country.
I don't like to write negative posts, however, I am regularly appalled by the Queen of Netherland's somewhat "laissez-faire" appearances, mainly her regularly totally neglectful and messy hairdoes. She is the Queen, for heaven sakes, has numerous personal staff to keep her looking perfect at all times. Thus, it's almost surreal that leaves the palace looking like she sometimes does.
