I started at Trinity back in the fall of 1987 went there for a year. It was a much different world then. It was some of the best times of my life. I'm gonna be 60 this year. I started college in 1983, and I have yet to finish my journey. But I'm glad Trinity was part of that journey.
You may have noticed in the gospels that God does not directly takes his actions on Earth; instead, all of God's actions are performed by the "Spirit of God" (see, for example, Mary's pregnancy). All this has been misinterpreted: God is helped by the third person of the trinity, who accordingly is also called "the Helper." This is ridiculous, God can HIMSELF carry out his actions, He doesn't need any "helpers"! What happens is quite different: God does not personally takes His actions for the simple reason that He is ABSENT, He is AWAY in ANOTHER DIMENSION. It's for this reason that "Nobody has seen God at any time", that "the world has not known you" that Jesus sits at the right hand of POWER (not at the right hand of God), that Philip has no chance to see God (the only available alternative is to see Jesus). It's for this reason that the KING of heaven is Jesus and NOT GOD! But God - even if absent - is able to be PRESENT here with His words and actions! Since everything takes place as if God was present here - but actually NOBODY is here - you can say that God is here but He is in the form of spirit: He is the "Spirit of God." The Spirit of God therefore IS NOT A THIRD PERSON BUT THE SAME GOD IN THE FORM OF SPIRIT. In fact, Jesus states that "God is a spirit." Since NO THIRD divine person exists, only TWO BLASPHEMIES are possible: either against 1. the Son or against 2. the Father. Those TWO blasphemies have indeed been discussed by Jesus, noteworthy is the fact that "the Father" was called "HOLY SPIRIT" by Jesus on that occasion. "Holy Spirit" is just a "SPIRIT-NAME" used to IDENTIFY that "Spirit" who is the Father. You can thus turn your prayers to God who is far away in a distant dimension, or - if you like - imagine that God is here but He is a spirit (the Holy Spirit). To recap ONLY ONE (divine) SPIRIT exists, He is the Father.
