This is what America needs again. Faith, love and compassion. I am seeing none of this from the left! We need honest leadership and intelligent voters. Take back our education? And stop the corruption. Raise intelligent children and teach them the truth.
I had a chance to meet Ronald Reagan just previous to his first election for President. We were visiting my parents in Hawaii and read in the paper that he would arrive in Honolulu the next day. We decided to try to see if we could see him there at the airport. We got there plenty early, and in those days you could go right up to the gate. There was no one there but us and a few folks waiting for the next flight. About 10 minutes before his flight arrived, the media started to show up. Then just before they deplaned, a few curious people started gathering around. Everyone came off the plane and then, former Gov. Reagan and Nancy came out. The cameras started flashing and we all crowded in to get a look. I was lucky and got up front. When the Governor came towards me I threw out my hand and said Welcome to Hawaii Governor Reagan. He put out his hand and gave my hand a good shake and said to me, “We’ll thank you young man”, and moved on. It is a moment I will never forget. I will never forget his voice. I still have a few of the very poorly taken pictures I took. They are gold to me. .
Ronald Reagan was running when I became old enough to vote. He's the 1st President I voted for, & I voted for him twice. Despite a rocky start, he proved himself to be a good man, & a great leader. To me, he's very similar to Donald Trump, who deserves none of the backlash that he gets. The final name on my list of favorite presidents is Andrew Jackson, another man who was raked over the coals, who repeatedly demostrated thst he was not afraid to stand fire to prove a point, in the case of Jackson, he was generally standing up for his beloved wife Rachel, who also did not deserve the horrible things said about her. I was just a sprout when I voted for Reagan, & now I am 67. I hope that God will bless me with the gift of meeting D.J. Trump.
