University of Nebraska cornhusker football program is the greatest unifying factor in the state. On game days. Everybody is just a Husker fan. And no one exemplifies that Spirit better than our head coach Matt Rhule and his football team.

In his 3rd year he turned a program that was a bottom feeder to 11-3 by year 3. What other coach has done that after a scandal has rocked a college football program like that? I’ll wait.

Great leaders, motivators, and men can't help but be successful at a program with the resources nebraska has. It will never be the 90s again because what college football is becoming will make the dynasty harder to come by, save for 2 or 3 schools, but nebraska consistently knocking on door of the playoff is definitely doable. I’m not sure anyone actually believes they should be ranked though. Maybe some national media figures do but nobody in Nebraska does. We’d rather see improvement and earn the ranking.
@@thomasorzack5795They brought in one of the best WR from the ACC last year plus borderline 5 star Carter Nelson, and Jaylen Lloyd tied Marvin Harrison for most 50+ receptions last year as a true freshman, plus all of Nebraska's starting WR got injured early last season/in fall camp and are all healthy now. They have a much better WR room this year. There's a reason analysts see Nebraska as a potential top 25 team after a 5-7 year.

Nebraska has an interesting program. They are pretty competitive and have been regularly putting good players into the NFL.
