Cluster beans - 250 grams
Onion - 1
Grated coconut - 3 tbl spoon
Toor dal - 1 teaspoon
Chana dal - 1 teaspoon
Coriander seeds - 1 teaspoon
Pepper - ½ teaspoon
Cumin seeds - ¼ teaspoon
Dry chilli - 3 to 4
Mustard & Urad dal - ½ teaspoon
Asafoetida
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder
Oil - 1 tbl spoon
Salt

Tried ur recipe. It's finger licking. Spicy masala with grated coconut increased the taste of cluster beans. When I cook it in usual method... Only I eat. But this time it got over in no time.

In childhood, I barely like Avarai, and seeni-avarai (kothavarai). One day, I went to my grandmother house, she cooked a simple aviyal of seeni-avarai kaai. I soon felt inspiring about taste. I'm sure avarai kaai poriyal will be an outstanding food.
Your cooking reminded the taste 😋. The dry masala power prepared is with simple combination. Will pattai add taste to it? In our district and madurai only, I see distinct taste, in fact our soil supports its growth. The final touch of coconut thuruval makes the heterogeneous taste with dry masala. I use lots of oil and make shiny poriyal, hope the coconut add some more oily figure. I want to ask 'which oil is best far poriyal'.
I have seen the noodles 🍜. Superb.

Yes you can use small piece of pattai while dry roast....I always use ground nut oil for cooking ... Thank you so much
