I actually appreciate the lack of talking and the music. I know these may not be helpful to beginners. These videos are more geared to intermediate and advanced people looking for new stitch patterns. They have a lot of talking videos for beginners. On here and other social media platforms. Also, some people have sound issues and have trouble with hearing a lot of talk. And/or even being confused with talking to learn. It's just another avenue of teaching, so there is something for everyone.
I believe they don't speak so they can reach more people.
If they speak that would likely eliminate the viewer who doesn't speak there language.

Hi…Shirley from England here… the actual crochet stitches are universal… but the terminology and languages are varied, so talking isn’t really necessary, as long as the tutor is slow enough to follow. I follow a lady from Turkey 🇹🇷 and I don’t speak Turkish, so I turn off the dialogue and just watch 🤓xxx
I watch and write down the directions as she does it. Beautiful stitch. Love it. Will probably use little bigger yarn and hook for larger throw. 😊❤💐💕🧶
Be thankful for what they give you. You could have to pay for all the free ones.
I agree the music is very distracting. I turn the volume off and just watch. But I love this pattern-it seems very easy to do so I will make a blanket with it. And any number of stitches seems easy enough!

Its a simple design ..chain a even number, then single crochet each stitch across,chain 2. Turn then do 2 long stitches in 2stitches across,chain 2 turn then single crochet back stitch then repeat. Row 2 and 3.
