    Thanks for great video... Where you mount ur camera ? Which wide angle you used ? Like 170° or other, which action camera you used? On which resolution setting? Please reply... :)

      Nilesh, the camera is mounted on a chest harness, it's a Go Pro Hero 7 Black. Recording at 2.7K, with Superview (look this up for the FOV) and Hypersmooth stabilization. If you have additional questions, let me know!

    Great video! You have a knack for this. Brought back fond memories from treks to Sinhaghad back in the day. Wish I could bike it now. Keep up the good work!

      Thank you, much appreciated! I still haven't actually trekked up yet, with as much as I love the climb and the descent, I wonder if I ever will! Maybe with family :)

      I know I would not be able to, but I'm sure many would. It depends on your fitness and weight as well. What climbs have you tried so far, have you done Katraj, Bopdev or Dive? Or even shorter climbs like Vetal / Taljai (Watch this: th-cam.com/video/6Ox2pm88Gc8/w-d-xo.html)

      @@TheIndianCyclist I haven't done any climbs just started cycling in Pune as my native is Chennai where we have flat roads, So will practice for 3 months and thinking to give a try

      Good on you! There's nothing wrong with going for Sinhagad directly, of course - but I would recommend smaller ones first to see how you stack up against them with your fitness. Cycling in Pune is amazing, you're going to have a great time here: th-cam.com/video/FEaJ4_GIYks/w-d-xo.html

      Thanks Nilesh. I used Garmin Virb Edit to add those in post processing. You need to synch the GPX file with the video and the software does the rest.

      @@TheIndianCyclist Thanks for the reply... did you ride to Lohagad on bicycle ? If yes then share the experience.

    • @TheIndianCyclist
      @TheIndianCyclist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately not, I have ridden to Lonavala once - the old Mumbai-Pune highway has great roads, but the route can get a bit boring. You might want to look into going via Paud - Hadishi, which would be a much more scenic ride, especially alongside the Pawna Lake, but ... crap roads! Take your pick :)

      @@TheIndianCyclist Hi.... I shoot on smartphone, then how to create .GPX file ? How to sync ? I tried all. But didn't get success. Can u guide me ?

      1) record your ride with Strava or any other similar program. You can export the gpx file from this.
      2) sych your video clips with exported gpx. Watch this video for details: th-cam.com/video/s5v9ZCwcung/w-d-xo.html

    I did this climb on first jan last year! Which is the computer you use on your bike? Just curious.

    • @TheIndianCyclist
      @TheIndianCyclist  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a Lixada Wireless Computer, does speed, cadence and HR as well - great value though it occasionally goes out of synch with the sensors, and displays nothing for a few minutes before getting back on track. Here's a link: bit.ly/2rYFiVM

      Agreed, that zone is very beautiful! Make sure you don't miss other sides of Pune though, especially the south east zone (Bopdev ghat, Dive ghat, Saswad, etc.). th-cam.com/play/PLY4SAkTKw50AU2t7ZhLOhcX-FGvP8aAk4.html

      @@TheIndianCyclist i had a querry that shold i invest in a electric cycle for long range cycling rides like 150 km ride

    • @TheIndianCyclist
      @TheIndianCyclist  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically, no - unless you have a disability or some health problems, you should be able to do a 150 km ride with some practice. Regular folk can easily ride 200-300 km a day as well. If you need to ride long distances regularly, then that's another matter. E-Bikes definitely have their place in the cycling world, but really depends on what you're looking for.

      @@TheIndianCyclist so can you suggest me a good lightweight cycle coz the one i use is at least 22 kg and the longest i was able to go on was 30 kms on it
      till now i was watching all of yours wonderful videos about all the trails ...... nice job great editing 👍

    • @TheIndianCyclist
      @TheIndianCyclist  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A hybrid would be a good bike to buy, a cross hybrid if you want to do some trails on the same bike too. As for recommending a bike, there is little point in doing that now because most bikes are just out of stock, so we have to buy used or buy a bike that's available and fits our needs. Have a look at this list as a good starting point: www.cyclingmonks.com/best-hybrid-cycle-under-30000/
