jhin's only weakness is his midgame where he doesnt do much damage and gets killed very easily especially before the ie changes

Not really, utilising jhin traps can make dragon fights really good for his team. JhinW is excellent for pick potential. Jhin r is great at finishing off skirmishes as well.
Not really. As someone mentioned, Jhin provides a huge amount of utility. From roots to slows, and good damage. Not the greatest but okay. His biggest weakness are tanks.
Theres a simple fix, play safe.

Jhin is really good early and late, but contrary to most ADCs he is 100% team reliant mid game so its a balance

Jhin's ult allows you to have impact in a fight while being in a completely safe position... until an enemy bruiser dashes 3 times through your team to 1 shot you anyway :)
Its all about timing, vision and positioning
what bruiser has 3 dashes to get to a jhin are you sure thats not an assassin or a melee adc which are basically assassins anyway

@@azul1964 skirmishers and yas builds like an adc to act like an assassin. extactly the characters i mean when i made that comment same with irela she either builds enough damage to die easiliy to an adc or she builds less damage but isnt poping an adc at all.
@@GeninGeo bruisers are defined to be able to kill tanks regardless of adc. Assassins are famous for not able to burst a tank and get deleted instead.
His weakness is tanks with hard Cc that can get on top of u as u don't have consistent DPS compared to other ADCs
Try the HOB kraken jhin build
Kraken is absurd on Jhin, 3rd becomes the second 4th shot
pretty much yep even with the kraken build you need to reload multiple times so it take a while to kill them. less than with galeforce but still quite a bit

I tend to build eclipse, lord dom and IE on Jhin when fscing a tanky comp.
Fourth shot just does so much ridiculous damage.
Jhin also uses Galeforce really well which allows you to dodge assassin engages that he otherwise wouldnt be able to.
I think this is a great example of why moment speed is an op stat
So long as the enemy team is squishy, Jhin feels pretty good.
And the fact he has pseudo executes in his kit make him very useful in teamfights for finishing off tanky targets. He has move speed/mobility, he has utility, a good trade pattern, good range and with galeforce extra mobility plus extra execute
The power curve is def not consistent at level 11 it starts going a lot harder, that's the level you get r rank 2, your 4th shot missing health % gets maxed out, and the % AD increase per level from your passive rises to 4% per level instead of the previous 1 to 2%
Do not pick Jhin into a team that is incentivized to stack armor and hes fine.

The best thing about jhin is that he will not gonna be useless even if he is falls behind
For example a falling behind adc will bring almost nothing to the team fight even until they can farm up again but jhin he can cc enemy from a long distance has visions control and slow them down thanks to his e an ult that can help you from a half of the map away
That’s why I usually choose him if I has to play as an adc
I thought this was going to be a video about those weird times when Jhin W or ult seems to curve around parts of the map, or when his ult goes outside of its indicated range. It has something to do with the fact that the map actually has some hidden height differences between the river and the lanes.
As a pyke main, i love Jhin players. When I see my adc picking jhin, I know it's going to be an easy victory.
Jhin isn't bad late, but he isn't as good as the other adcs who can almost one-shot everyone

Jhin needs a tanky support that can kite well to keep him alive, he's extremely vulnerable when reloading. Assassins and burst makes can take him out really easy.

I've reached top17 Jhin EUW on WR(GM 248 LP and I can assure you that, after understanding him, you'll always be consistent in every game,either win or loss. I've never gone over 4 deaths with jhin with 330 games on him. Id always be able to recover farm and actually fight fed enemies so even though he doesn't have an insane kit, you can still manage well even against a Draven

You forgot the most important thing about Jhinn: He cant kill Tanks in the later parts of the game.
There is no reason to ever pick Jhinn over any other ADC.

There are plenty od reasons to pick Jhin over any adc. Jhin isn't all about damage. He can also be used a support. You can root enemies from miles away and your ult slows people down by alot. Everytime you hot someone with a R bullet you basically put a Nasus E on them. So Jhin has better utility than any other adc. Even while behind you can provide atleast some assistance by rooting and slowing enemies. You don't have to be the main character in every game.

Jhin's been top tier for a very long time, unless the enemy team is running tanks top jungle AND support (which doesn't happen in solo queue, let's be real) he's going to be fine
He is a really good pick if you want to bring more than just damage or just don’t want to be useless if you falls behind
As a support main, I hate having a Jhin adc. I don't know what it is, but no matter how fed I get this champ, he's always useless late game, while every other adc rips through the entire enemy team in 5 seconds no problem.
Jhin is just OP and should be nerfed. Especially his longshot hitbox because it's way larger than the skill shot indicator

When I played I used miss fortune and my friend I played with used Jarvin as support. your ult inly needs 80 seconds to 100 to cool down. you pop ult banner and mis fortune ult and there goes squished without flash or a dash…. Ash mains…
this is even better when you snare a ash with blizt crank or thresh and jarvin ganks from top to bottom with jungle tank taking top.

Yeah as a champ Jhin is not bad, but as an adc he’s bad, and I mean, really bad compared to others because he can’t shred, he doesn’t have enough agency compared to a top/mid/jgl, not enough impact for an adc, not enough utility, but he does a bit of all of these. Once that enemy Gnar/Sion/Ksante starts running at you you can’t hurt them, can’t stop them, and you can’t get past them either. Your team would fall one after the other as the enemy adc shreds them and Jhin would be in the back struggling to deal damage to enemy front lines but at least he’ll survive if they don’t have a good engage.
Also you can very satisfyingly one shot any squishy if you can get in range with a 4th shot.
Just don’t try to do that to an assassin they will kill you

As a platinum adc main, the only counter to jhin I this current patch, is just to not play league or bot lane at least. He needs to be looked at.

For bot lane.. I've just been playing Veigar, Seraphine, Cho'Gath, Ashe, Karthus, or Ziggs
I would figure Jhin wouldn't be too hard to play, but getting used to his 4 shot mechanic isn't something I'm used to
He’s very unique. He really rewards you for being very deliberate and focused with his shots and his kit. But he is very fun in the right scenario and when you have a good understanding of how you play him.
you have to get into the mindset when playing Jhin. Killing is art. Get used to using his 4th shot as a poke and run. That way you would always remember to count your shot

So Jhin's power curve is that he always kinda sucks and just have to pray that you have good teammates. Full build you can hurt a squishy but gl if enemy has a single tank or bruiser (very common)
I tried him and to me
he is not that bad against tanky opponents he is just worst than other adc quite alot against tank
most of the time dominik is a good enough weapon to shut them down and beside you still have your team after all
If jhin gets hit by say jinx or Lucian first instead of him hitting them first he dies. He can’t shoot out his bullets in time so he’s a very risky champion cant play by your self
yeah, if both are as fed as each other, Jhin can't duel them. He might stand a chance if he get the first shot.
ADC is unpopular in low elo because their playerbase can’t handle buckling down and playing reserved if support is bad enemy jungle focusing you etc, or god forbid I say they have poor early laning phase fundamentals and that leads to entire games going bad if you fall too behind early
Marksmen botlane is strong at every point in the game atm, it’s an overtuned role. But yeah normally Jhin is pretty comfy to play
He basically the opposite to aphel, easy, scales at all times in the game, has movement speed faster than a caster minion
I just go full ad and lethality and late game snipes it's actually pretty effective on my play style 😂
It's even better in aram where you only need one item to snipe and get your R back in 30secs or less 😂
Play Jhin only if you have an AP carry on your team. Because if you don't, the enemy just need one tank with armor to run through your team. Jhin is bad at killing tank, especially if your whole team is AD and enemy tank just stacks armor.

Except for the games where the enemy team has mobile champs and/or long-range slows. So about 80-90% of the time.
thats ofcourse "IF" you have a team that isnt complete dogshit, reason i switched to toplane this season is because i got drained "waiting" for that one team that isnt a useless yummi support thats gonna ditch me for the 2/1 midlaner at 9 minutes and a jungler that doesnt know what botlane is , resutling in me: a lone jhin 0/5 at 10 minutes playing impossible 1vs3 all the time ,getting dove etc... and then i press tab only to see my team not achieving anything while i eat the shit.
as of now, youmuus jhin is way better then galeforce jhin, more damage, higher scaling earlier, with the tradeoff of mobility, ive tested a few games and my early game has been ALOT better with youmuus collector ldr instead of stormrazor galeforce ldr
if playing in jungle its recommended to not go lethality since you cant have dark harvest, and dark harvest is what makes that 4th shot explosion hit even harder, its still viable its just not as good
U forgot to mention that jhin has some of the highest base stats (notably base HP) out of any adc. Which is incredibly important in a role which innately has less XP gain than everyone else. I guarantee you if they nerfed his disgusting base stats he's much much less op early
But he needs it tho since he has only 4 bullets.

He is still one shot by assassins and tanks are a complete no for him. If you’re up against a top and jungle who picked tanks then Jhin falls off against them extremely hard because of his lack of true damage and attacks per second.
Jhin is more of a Execute ADC because of his damage from the fourth shot scale with how much health the target loss. His movement speed is high so if u add true damage he would be quite broken. So if the enemy tank are at full health it would be a problem. And another thing is the reload.
and late game you can have 1k ad so he deals a lot of damage

There's an obvious and predictable powerspike, but a significant amount of downsides.
I really like the concept of ADC. I don't really mind being weak early because I have patients to farm and sclae to late game. There are just not that many ADC champions whose designs are something I like. There are less than handful like Jhin and Samira and even Kalista is interesting but champs like Jinx, Caitlyn, Vayne, Tristana and Draven just don't really stick the landing for me. Not to mention the absolute wasted potential (in my opinion) that is Kai'sa and her extremely interesting and cool concept and lore and poor execution
