- Ox was a man who led an amazing life that touched so many people during his 28 short years with us. He was a warm-hearted, funny and humble guy who cared so much for his friends and family. We want Jeff Ox Kargola to be remembered as a friend, family member and one of the greatest athletes ever. He was never one to back down from any challenge life had to offer him--on or off the track, surfing, Baja racing or truck racing. To Jeff, there was never a question of there being any consequences, especially doing something he loved. R.I.P Jeff u will be missed and always remembered!! It has been a rough couple years with the tragic losses of awesome guys such as Lusk,Kargola,and mcneil, please keep them and their families in our prayers.
This day sucks every year. Miss you brother. Fun fact about Jeff, when we was kids he had several packs of socks stacked up and would only wear each pair one time and then they'd go straight into the trash.

Watching this Video. Seeing and hearing Cameron Steele talk about “Ox” I remember him in Freestyle, he was so talented. I love off-road racing. He’ll always be my hero. But, I remember hearing “Ox” is racing in so many different races. Thinking, Jeff “OX” had no limit to his talents. Even if it wasn’t off-road, freestyle. I will always be his biggest fan. Keep his memory close to my heart. Knowing you never heard a negative word about him in whatever sport he was a part of and how to stay such a nice guy! He treated people with respect. So loyal to us fans. His family & friends. You will always be remembered and known for being a legend. My heart goes out to his family & close friends. And us his biggest fan. Gone way too soon. My deepest condolences to his family. I had his poster on my FB page. It’s like thank you dude for sharing your talents & skills with us. Because your memory will always be with me.

That was Jeremy Lusk that passed away due to breaking his neck under rotating during a heart attack backflip.
OX Kargola crashed during the second day of the Desert Assassins’ 2011 Rip to the Tip desert motocross event -- an eight-day contest among 30 dirt-bike racers who cross mountains, beaches and desert between the border city of Mexicali and Cabo San Lucas. His death was due to a head injury when he got bucked off the bike, RIP he passed doing what he loved!
