i have to say, only minimalist is halfbaked design, winflit on the otherhand is Great but his S2 full of double edge sword. while it's great bcs he refill device faster, you have to be precise when you have to place and proc the skill. if you put device or proc the skill too slow the enemy already headed the way and break the defense, if you put or proc too fast, his device will vanish or skill already end, so you lose the benefit. strict for supporter and Caster are not necessarily at bad thing so if you want to, just place them on bard supporter so it's no longer class buff it's *OUR BUFF!!* Now.
As someone who has committed to the unfunny bit of only using male operators, seeing anybody at all shine a light on these characters gives me joy Cocknights for life

I've been using Corroserum every noe and then for his AOE silence and weird range, especially before I had Ifrit. Yeah, silence isn't universally useful in every situation, but when it is, it feels great to just ignore whatever mechanic the game is trying to put against you
But chief Ifrit _does silence them._ 9/10 doctors do indeedy agree that It's kinda hard to speak or do much of anything really when your lips are melting, along with the rest of your body, into a fine, burnt paste ya sees
Corroserum is not my fave boy or even in my top 5, but he has a place in my heart. He was on the NTR banner like you pointed out, the banner that was running when I started playing the game, and I pulled 3 of him at that time. His design is cute and he's got kind of a fun written character, so it really is a shame that everything he does is eclipsed by other operators. I don't feel as strongly about Windflit but he's a very similar tale, cute guy with uninspired mechanics. I'll still use and appreciate them probably. Maybe.
With this said tho, before I had pulled Lappland, Corroserum pulled his weight on the Specter Alter event when I needed to silence the dodge on those damn fish
Ive raised both casters and I can vouch for Minimalist, he is not really bad because he has an afk s2 that takes low time to charge and has three stacks, which is quite good. HE is also good caster fodder for buffs in SSS. Plus hes the shortest durin on the ship and quite cute.
I've had Minimalist solo-defend a lane in the Dossoles MO stage, while the other lane was held by thorns eyja ifrit lappland saria mudrock etc. minimalist better than 6* confirmed.
HG when designing a new boy's kit: 1) extremely niche or convoluted experimental skill set that makes no sense, have no practical use, and also is a 5* because fuck your mats 2) press skill to win no in between
I built Minimalist purely because he’s a mech-accord caster, which happens to be my favorite archetype. He’s by no means great, but I at least appreciate that he requires literally no thought to use. Just set him down and he’ll do his job. Honestly, he’s not that bad as an ST caster. But I will forever be annoyed by the fact that he’s the only mech-accord caster whose main skill does NOT release the drone.
I feel like I'm getting Mandela effected here because I was so sure it _did_ Does his boss form have an attack where it leaves behind a little drone swarm that attacks your ops or something? Because I can see the visual so clearly in my mind.

But as an operator, he’s the only mech-accord caster (so far) that doesn’t have a skill which releases his drone. One that increases Atk and Atk Spd, and another skill with charges that buffs his next attack and makes it hit twice. He’s the only member of his subtype that doesn’t have the benefit of being able to attack outside of his range.

Minimalist is good for what he is because at the end of the day, he's a Mech-Accord Caster, which is one of the two caster archetypes that HG makes or buffs to be consistently good.
As someone who used Haze as the only reliable source of single target caster DPS for a year (no Eyja, Amiya is cool but really likes to harm herself, Absinthe has too many limitations to her skillset) I would kill to have operator like Minimalist in my roster back then.
I feel like absinthe only has too many limitations if you insist on using her wack (and by wack I mean "kinda bad actually") s2. S1 is an infinite duration skill, and the only real limitation is it takes a while to get going, like all infinite duration skills. Otherwise it's a great source of consistent single target arts dps. First skill I ever m3'd lol.
Windflit is so powerful, he single-handedly made me not want to roll on the SN banner to get Irene after getting Specter alt as to not waste 50% of my 5 star rolls on him.
Surprisingly minimalist works really well for me. Probably because I'm too lazy to click skills but at least he contribute more in battle than my raised kjera that I regret raising

i have a max pot windflit with s2m3 as support list 5* lol he's a good doggo, he had me at 'Woof!' i also have mini and corro e2'd for maleknights. i use mini like a mystic caster he gets parked somewhere to just charge stacks up corro is there to be qt (and sometimes silence things rarely)
Artificer is just one of those archetypes that I feel is just not worth the effort honestly. With how effective burst cycle strats are nowadays with Skadi Module, Surtr and NTR, dedicating not only an operator slot but tiles for a fairly small efficiency boost to add just a little bit of a boost *on a timer* feels bad. Especially in a world where Warfarin and the 6* medics exist.
Roberta is op tho, she can give anyone 2 shields, Silvergun did a video where roberta alone tanked one of the Colossi, so if someone doesnt have Mudrock and need that shield, than she can get the job done imo, for example the cannon in the last cc

Corroseum saved my ass during Stul.Navis since I didnt have Laplap and Jaye alone was not enough. So yeah if there was no silence on his skill he would be just super meh. With the silence he at least has that one small niche he can offer to unlucky sods who dont have silence queen.

The only exception is Corroserum since hes "ifrit at home" and you might not have Ifrit. Minimalist is defeated by even smaller person named Click and Windflit doesnt even have fun factor of Roberta smacking people with beauty equipment. HOWEVER! Consider Integrated Strategies. There is relic i refer to as "Choccy pasta" that makes your attack double for one second after using a skill (there are two other that boost attack this way but pasta is strongest). This basically doubles the power of Windflit's SPEEEN and Minimalists drone slap. Minimalist is more unique since he is one of two ranged arts units that benefits from "Choccy pasta" (ok, Passenger benefits a little from his S3 since his skill lasts around 4 seconds). The other is Stewart and as much as i like Stewart, you wont convince me he is stronger than Minimalist. No way. Also no, I checked. Eyafyalla and Ifrit have too slow attack skill animation to benefit from it. All im saying is to be creative and you can really unleash the power of even weirdest operators.

Corroseum or however it is spelled has niche use. For example he was good to keep suicide stuff silenced in some maps during ch'en alter rerun.

Minimalist is arguably better than Windflit and Corroseum. He is well. Minimal. He's good for sustained DPS but Windflit is just too conditional. Shame his module doesn't really improve Windflit

...honestly i dont use them not because they are weak, its because their kit is nothing fun and I dont care about them. The only exception is Corroserum since hes "ifrit at home" and you might not have Ifrit. Minimalist is defeated by even smaller person named Click and Windflit doesnt even have fun factor of Roberta smacking people with beauty equipment.
HOWEVER!
Consider Integrated Strategies. There is relic i refer to as "Choccy pasta" that makes your attack double for one second after using a skill (there are two other that boost attack this way but pasta is strongest). This basically doubles the power of Windflit's SPEEEN and Minimalists drone slap. Minimalist is more unique since he is one of two ranged arts units that benefits from "Choccy pasta" (ok, Passenger benefits a little from his S3 since his skill lasts around 4 seconds). The other is Stewart and as much as i like Stewart, you wont convince me he is stronger than Minimalist. No way.
Also no, I checked. Eyafyalla and Ifrit have too slow attack skill animation to benefit from it.
All im saying is to be creative and you can really unleash the power of even weirdest operators.
Love Windflit not only because his kit and skills, but also his Chinese voice is the same one with Chrome from Punishing Gray Raven (same Chinese voice actor)

According to something of a new study released by the Rhodes Island University(shitpost group), from the summer of 2021 to the Mlynar event we've had many 6*s, and all of them have had their time in the spotlight in one way or another, be it in their own events or some other content, save for one of them. They have not taken a title in CC in perhaps half a millennia, and their outstanding performances in roguelike remain ever so lacking. Operators other than GG simply do not exist. Funniest of all, a singular certain operator put 90% of casters out of a job. The main DPS of an art teams would turn out to be a guard.
