33rd US-Japan Friendship Cup Tennis Tournament 2022

On Saturday, August 13th, the US-Japan Friendship Cup Tennis Tournament was held at San Mateo High School. Founded in 1987, the purpose of the Friendship Cup Tennis Tournament is to develop a warm relationship between the people of Japan and the United States.
The event is open to all levels of players, from those with no experience to advanced players. We had a great time demonstrating our abilities and talking with each other.
The winner was given the Consular Cup, a majestic steel chalice donated to the tournament in 1990 by the Consulate General of Japan. Lunch, gift bags, and trivia prizes were also awarded!!
