Theres also a jet for the Bolide. I stripped everything off a bolide to make it into basically a go kart and got around 500mph with the jet engine, then the front started to lift.
I would love to see the old hyper bolide with a jet engine.

There are hundreds of real life jet cars and trucks that have been on the world's drag strips. Modeling them could be a whole category in BeamNG.

First it was The ridiculously tall H series mod, Then it was the ridiculously wide T series, then came the ridiculously overpowered, funny and fun automation car mods. Now it's a jet engined Pigeon. Beamng drive is stretching the limit on what's possible. Because in Beamng drive science and reason get tossed out the window in favor of amusement and fun. Like according to the rules of Science and reason a Pigeon shouldn't go nearly 300 mph but Beamng drive abides by no rules and when fun and amusement take over that's when the ridiculousness sets in.

And then wait until you learn that you can change the values in the road grip editor to negative numbers.
yeah, 284 mph under certain conditions is on the extremely slow side for a jet powered vehicle, passenger jets can do 400-500 mph and military jets are even zippier at up to Mach 2, maybe even Mach 3, or 1483 to 2223 mph

there is surprisingly little difference between the cruising speeds of something like a Boeing 747 that is designed to go at it's cruising speed and never have to go any faster and the cruising speed of something like an F16.
short version? _air_ has a cruising speed and it changes with altitude, the design of the aircraft matters but not all that much...really the design of the _engines_ is going to have a lot more effect on the cruising speed and altitude and even then it's still based on the air density: that 747 for example is going to get the most distance per fuel spent flying somewhere around 35000 feet at ~mach 0.85 while the f16 is going to cruise at 28-36k feet at a blistering mach...0.86. ←changes with load in both cases.
Lemme guess, soon there will be a mod that adds a jet engine to every car, first the bolide, now the pigeon, what's next, the t series??
