When I first heard the song, I thought it was only one person singing the whole song. Either way, this song is beautiful, and I'll always keep it close to my heart.
As an older dude born in the 60s, raised pretty much on 70s and 80s rock and metal, then transitioned to grunge and newer rock/metal, I would never intentionally seek out this type of music. Heck, I am not even sure how I got to this video, but I do have to admit that this song is amazing and the video is pure art. Additionally, Ruelle and Fleurie have beautiful voices and seem to be a perfect match as a duo.

Bryan, your story is almost a reflection of my own life. Born in the early 60s and grown up with music and able to change with the times. In fact, going to a concert with my daughter next month who is a new and up coming UK singer. I find I really enjoy the new music, I may at times be the oldest person in the concert, but I’m enjoying myself as much now as in the “Old Days”.

A lot of people think this song references loved ones who have passed, God, or just having people who help us in times of need. But I view it differently. I feel like this is a song about a person struggling, searching for someone to help them, but realizes they are their own best hero at the end of the day. Sometimes we have to save ourselves, we have to carry ourselves, and weather the storm alone. There are moments in our lives we will be alone or have to face things alone and we have to find our inner strength to carry ourselves through it.
Agreed. While I have a few well-known artists, my playlist is mainly lesser-known singers like Ruelle and Fleurie and many more who don't get the same recognition. My family don't know half the artists I listen to when I play my music on speakers.

Two Too To Productions I know. It's these artists who know how to convey true emotion in their music, something we can connect to, regardless of it's through personal experience or not. I just connect with these artists, like how I just instantly connect to this song. Lol and my little sister thinks my music taste is lame because I don't follow the popular artists as much as she does.
The thing I LOVE about the lesser known artists are they dont suck at the teet to conform to what mainstream wants. Only discovered Ruelle and already in love with her, she is amazing

I can't wait for more music from both of them and hopefully more future collaborations, because that's real music there. Well, there's more than interpretation, but from what I get, it's a song perfect for someone going through a hard time, but they aren't alone and the support is there.
I just love Maggie's voice and she is also ridicilously beautiful, Fleurie has also very beautiful voice to compliment Maggie's and together they are just magical and angelic.... I love rasp and yet clear high notes of Ruelle. For that kinda woman I would have and would fight for the worst places ever or do anything else almost impossible just knowning that this woman is waiting for me... anything. No matter what. And I have kept my promises so far in better and worse everytime so I'm not just boasting here.

I lost my 23yr old daughter to Covid on Mother’s Day!! I thank God for music like this that’s ministry to the soul. No parent can ever imagine having to bury their child…it’s against the natural order of things. Keep trying i had 4 miscarriages until I was blessed with my precious Alex Its very hard I laid in bed crying my eyes out for days after each one. 💓Don't give up you will have a child. May need to be bed ridden and not work if you work. What I had to do. I quit my job to have my second child. It worked I was 100% healthy too and my son almost weighed 9 lbs and is very smart and perfect! Some things have to change in our lifestyle bc we are more fragile in our pregnancy state. Find out what you need to change and try again.

Was catching up on Grey's Anatomy and heard this song for the first time. So many reasons it made me sad, and yet gave me hope. I was with my mom when she passed away of lung cancer 15 years ago, and with my dad 9 months earlier when he passed away from complications with his heart. My daughter moved away to another state a couple of years ago, and today I found out my son might be moving out of state as well. My husband just got out of the hospital this past week. He had pneumonia, and his kidneys are bad. They also said he'd had a heart attack. Songs can mean different things to different people. To me, this was a poignant reminder of losing, and almost losing, the ones I love, but that God carried me through it when I was completely broken, and He continues to do so.
My sister sent this to me. She has always defended me, so to me she is like my mother. This is crazy my biological mom just messaged me. All she did was scream out at us. We were hungry and felt hated. Now she sends just now some picture. I don't engage with her much. I try not to at all. My older sister is more of a mom than this biologically related mother of mine, who at this point is on the verge of harrassment.

yeah...I don't even know what I have, my parents don't let me get diagnosed, I know the symptoms though I might have PTSD *Sighhh* bottled up feelings just make it feel worse. -_- My parents are always busy they never have "time" to have fun with me. My brothers are adults, they can be fun but we think differently. My family is abusive and I get bullied. This makes me feel better at my lowest moment and reminds me God is still with me through my darkest moments.

My sister sent me this song so touching I'm fighting lupus rheumatoid arthritis fibromyalgia seizures osteoporosis and the list goes on and I'm only 31! He battled many demons for many years but one thing he never did was lose his faith in God. If only I could have one more day with my handsome silly sweet kind hearted man. I am alone in life now, no close friends or relatives, but I feel his spirit close and I will patiently wait until the lord calls me home to be with him. Please don’t give up, there is someone who cares and even if it’s just one person, or just a dog, or a cat, there is a reason for you to be here having this earthly experience. Know you are not alone, I don’t know how I will make it through this dark heavy place, but with God beside me and my guardian angels I will keep going, one foot in front of the other. I looked up this beautiful song when I heard it on the ASPCA plea to help all the animals who are abused, neglected, tortured. I am so grateful to all those who are helping not just animals, but the people who "carry" all of us - our health care workers, scientists, rescuers. And I hope it's not too late for our planet. For all who are fighting to save us: don't give up.

As an older dude born in the 60s, raised pretty much on 70s and 80s rock and metal, then transitioned to grunge and newer rock/metal, I would never intentionally seek out this type of music. Heck, I am not even sure how I got to this video, but I do have to admit that this song is amazing and the video is pure art. Additionally, Ruelle and Fleurie have beautiful voices and seem to be a perfect match as a duo.

Bryan, your story is almost a reflection of my own life. Born in the early 60s and grown up with music and able to change with the times. In fact, going to a concert with my daughter next month who is a new and up coming UK singer. I find I really enjoy the new music, I may at times be the oldest person in the concert, but I’m enjoying myself as much now as in the “Old Days”.

A lot of people think this song references loved ones who have passed, God, or just having people who help us in times of need.
But I view it differently. I feel like this is a song about a person struggling, searching for someone to help them, but realizes they are their own best hero at the end of the day. Sometimes we have to save ourselves, we have to carry ourselves, and weather the storm alone. There are moments in our lives we will be alone or have to face things alone and we have to find our inner strength to carry ourselves through it.

I just love Maggie's voice and she is also ridicilously beautiful, Fleurie has also very beautiful voice to compliment Maggie's and together they are just magical and angelic.... I love rasp and yet clear high notes of Ruelle. Keep trying i had 4 miscarriages until I was blessed with my precious Alex Its very hard I laid in bed crying my eyes out for days after each one. 💓Don't give up you will have a child. May need to be bed ridden and not work if you work. What I had to do. I quit my job to have my second child. It worked I was 100% healthy too and my son almost weighed 9 lbs and is very smart and perfect! Some things have to change in our lifestyle bc we are more fragile in our pregnancy state. Find out what you need to change and try again.

Was catching up on Grey's Anatomy and heard this song for the first time. So many reasons it made me sad, and yet gave me hope. I was with my mom when she passed away of lung cancer 15 years ago, and with my dad 9 months earlier when he passed away from complications with his heart. My daughter moved away to another state a couple of years ago, and today I found out my son might be moving out of state as well. My husband just got out of the hospital this past week. He had pneumonia, and his kidneys are bad. They also said he'd had a heart attack. Songs can mean different things to different people. To me, this was a poignant reminder of losing, and almost losing, the ones I love, but that God carried me through it when I was completely broken, and He continues to do so.

My sister sent this to me. She has always defended me, so to me she is like my mother. This is crazy my biological mom just messaged me. All she did was scream out at us. We were hungry and felt hated. Now she sends just now some picture. I don't engage with her much. I try not to at all. My older sister is more of a mom than this biologically related mother of mine, who at this point is on the verge of harrassment.

yeah...I don't even know what I have, my parents don't let me get diagnosed, I know the symptoms though I might have PTSD *Sighhh* bottled up feelings just make it feel worse. -_- My parents are always busy they never have "time" to have fun with me. My brothers are adults, they can be fun but we think differently. My family is abusive and I get bullied. This makes me feel better at my lowest moment and reminds me God is still with me through my darkest moments.

My sister sent me this song so touching I'm fighting lupus rheumatoid arthritis fibromyalgia seizures osteoporosis and the list goes on and I'm only 31! I'm 57 and in a very dark place in my life. Trying so hard to fight the darkness . I hope if there is anyone else out there fighting the darkness that you don't let it win because it will literally take everyone and everything away from you.
I hope you are well. My soulmate and best friend was 57, he passed June 18th suddenly from what we think was an overdose. He battled many demons for many years but one thing he never did was lose his faith in God. If only I could have one more day with my handsome silly sweet kind hearted man. I am alone in life now, no close friends or relatives, but I feel his spirit close and I will patiently wait until the lord calls me home to be with him.
Please don’t give up, there is someone who cares and even if it’s just one person, or just a dog, or a cat, there is a reason for you to be here having this earthly experience. Know you are not alone, I don’t know how I will make it through this dark heavy place, but with God beside me and my guardian angels I will keep going, one foot in front of the other.

I am so grateful to all those who are helping not just animals, but the people who "carry" all of us - our health care workers, scientists, rescuers. And I hope it's not too late for our planet. For all who are fighting to save us: don't give up.
This song/video was mystical and wondrous, yet deeply human in it's message... a tribute to the best of humanity. The light and dark colors worn seemed to symbolize the differences we often have. I love that, as it points to how important it is that we reach out to one another to find common ground and see the good in those that may not always share our beliefs.

When I listen to this song...the flashbacks aren't as bad. I'm reminded I'm not alone. I suffer from PTSD, severe depression, ADHD and anxiety. This song fills me with hope.
