So much is wonderful about this. This song can be sung in so many different ways. I've done a cover of it and it came across very Dylan-esque I think; just kind of factual sounding with a hint of bitterness (in a good way?) The whole song is generally quite bitter sweet. You've created a sweet sadness with your version which I adore. It can be sung in so many ways and still be projected with feeling. You have rad hair too.

Out of curiosity, what mic is that? It looks like the same one you used to record the Tiny Desk submission but I'm really impressed by it's capability to capture the overall "live" sound while still maintaining a nice clarity and focus on your vocals. I also have to assume that your finger picking is extremely light if this is a single track or are you mixing with some secondary off camera mic track that we can't see? Whatever the case, I really dig the audio quality on your one-off session recordings and I should mention your vocals/guitar playing/ and songwriting are all top notch as well. Keep doing what you do.
