Welcome back! I've also put together a cheap edc coin set that just uses 4+ Chinese coins that I keep on my keyring. My main set includes a slot box which is just too heavy to carry eveyday.
Odd that you never came up in my suggestions from the YT algorithm. I’m WalteredBeast on TMF and looked you up after seeing the reviewers thread. Really like the content and sub’d. Thanks!
Davids C/S routine is a wonderfull piece of magic. It is very magical, involves a spectator and happend in his hand, twice! This is worker stuff. Again thanks for this David.
welcome back! I really like your channel. you have good thoughts about the products and always a hint for a routine which I was not aware off yet. thanks for your "copper silver routine" and hope to see more from you in the future.
First, its great to have you back! Second, amazing video, great info, super useful. Do you use a magnetic flipper/shell? ( OXF)? Also where can I get your email?
I own a Barber OXF that I purchased from Jamie Schoolcraft. I hardly use it because I can perform the same types of routines with just regular flipper/shell combo as you see in this video. Unbiasedmagicreviews@gmail.com
Hi, I have one question about the Sanchez Fly, I just purchased and there is one step that is extremely difficult for me, I sent you an email, Thanks so much
Happy, Happy to see you back my friend. QUESTION: who do you know who would.could make all THE FOLLOWING in "Walking Liberty Halves"? split coin, cigarette thru and folding? tHANX, -KEITH
Hello, Can you send me the Copper Silver routine you were talking about, please? I have been performing the same one for almost 50 years. I don't even remember where I learned. I think I am about ready for a new one. Thank you
Hi, New sub! I was in the market for Split coins, I contacted Roy Keupers and I am having him put together a package for me, He does have a coin set called Transient which is a triple split coin, I do want to buy a good Flipper coin as well as a quality shell or 2, I am actually a card magician but lately I have become fascinated with coins for several reasons 1.) You can find routines for gaff coins that you already own 2.) There are a lot more card magicians than coin magicians (I just want to have the versatility over someone who has seen the same tricks over and over). May I ask, do you have experience with split coins? Can you recommend good books or dvds? Thanks in advance.
Hello Warrior Poet, I actually own a triple split coin from Roy Kueppers. It's a good coin. I would recommend you check out the Next Generation gravity flippers that are sold by Mark Mason and made by Bob Swaddling. There is no other flipper coin that can compare to his. I have 5 different next generation gravity flippers and they are all very reliable. All other flipper coins I own required that I replace the elastic after a couple of months or sooner. I'm going to do a review on a sweet C/S/B set if you are interested so stay tuned! It really depends on what you are interested in in terms of coin magic. Just like cards, there is a whole library of magic just on coins. Send me an email - unbiasedmagicreviews@gmail.com and I will try to help you with some suggestions for the type of effects you are looking for.
@@UnbiasedMagicReviews Thank you so much! That would be super helpful I have seen double deception and was on the fence about buying it, I could only find the quarter but I would prefer a larger coin. I really want to make the perfect kit for me that is reliable and will last a long time. 👍 You must be a Texan as you are very helpful!
Can you explain the basic difference b/w Unexpanded shells and expanded shells?? And which would you recommend to get it??? I have seen many people mention the expanded shells over unexpanded shells
The difference is this- expanded shells go through a process of expanding them to fit over a regular coin. Unexpanded shells are made from a coin and the rest of the coin set is cut down in diameter to fit the shell. (The other coins) I have both types of sets. People say unexpanded shells look more natural as they have not been expanded. Some people think that it's harder to tell which coin has the shell with unexpanded shell sets. Personally- I have used both types of shell sets and there is very little difference in everyday use. I almost always use an expanded shell set and no one has ever noticed the shell. One thing you might like is that half dollar unexpanded shell sets are slightly smaller in diameter because all the coins have been cut down (except the shell) which might make palming or other sleights easier. One more thing- if you get an expanded shell you can use it with other gimmicks like a flipper coin- unexpanded shell won't fit over a standard flipper because it is not cut down. For the extra cost I don't think an unexpanded shell set is worth it unless you buy a whole set of cut down copper/silver and flipper coins with it.
Can you do a review of the metal series or metal 4 more specifically? What’s ur opinions on the impossible coins across he teaches?? I’m guessing you prefer David Roth’s 😂
The general rule is the newer the coin the easier it is to palm because it has sharper, crisp milled edges. Kennedy half dollars almost always are easier to palm for this reason.
@@UnbiasedMagicReviews understood! This was helpful. I usually find Morgans and eisenhowers best for palming. Want to invest in a set of coins by Bob, but not sure between Liberties, Kennedies or Morgans.
Depending on the gimmick you get it can be noisy. I have multiple TUC coins and some are better than others. It’s really hit or miss. It does what it is supposed to but if I had to choose between TUC and a Shell, I will choose the shell any day.

Sounds interesting. I keep a regular Okito box in my bag to perform some favorites. It's an underused prop for sure.
I haven’t even watched the video yet; just wanted to say welcome back!

What an incredible amount of thought and “road work” you’ve shared here. Very much appreciated.

The C/S Routine is just perfect for me. Whenever the Spectator thinks about a Gaff, there are no Gaffs. A really cool Routine to carry 👌🏼
