Can you show how to use the power levels and the time cook. In other words, I want to cook something for 2 minutes on level 3. I can't get the microwave to allow me to enter time after entering the power level.
My uncle just got me one and it says not to place the unit "NEXT" to an gas "or" electric oven. I understand the gas but don't understand why I can't place it next to the oven?
@@theamazinggoldfish8713 ok. Good to know. But why. I will definitely have to look into this because the only place I can put mine is beside my stove. Thanks for letting me know. Cheers
@@BeerforBreakfastFactsforSnacks my problem too. I understand this is an high wattage microwave but I wouldn't be running both at the same time anyway. The only thing I can think of is the "cool" air intake for the microwave sucking up the heat off the eyes,....if I wasn't running the vent fan? I think I need to call Panasonic lol.
The only thing that I don't like about this microwave (I don't own this particular one -- but we have this exact same one at work) -- but what I don't really like about this microwave is that it's dark on the inside and that makes it hard to see to clean out any food particles and grease. I don't know why they would make it dark inside of a microwave, it doesn't make sense?
Panasonic makes hundreds of microwaves, you need to provided the model number because, like someone else said, many are similar but have different features and finishes and prices. Just for your info, you should not cover your food with plastic lids when you reheat in the microwave. The heat deteriorates the plastic and releases toxic stuff in your food.
Mine suddenly began beeping while I was in another room, came to see what was up and it beeped each time it continually cycled through P10, P9, P8, P7, etc, when gets down to p1 restarts at p10 and round and round. The ONLY BUTTON that operates now is the stop reset button, no sound or acknowledgement upon pushing anything else. Stopped cycling after stop reset, but after having it unplugged all day, plugged back in and many hours later it did it again, beep beep beep. Found a few people talking about this exact problem looking for help-'no suggestions fixed it. One technical "expert" just said it was probably control panel and cost to replace, might as well buy new one.
Had mine for 5 years and now the power level is stuck and does the P10, P9, P8, beeo beep beep constantly and all panel keys are locked. Keeping it unplugged and calling Panasonic, going on you tube, read entire manual, and no troubleshooting anywhere. No luck in three days and 5 hours total working on this. Panasonic will get you a repair site but it is 46.00 per MONTH. I am not doing that. ANY SUGGESTIONS
I have concerns. I just bought this exact model NN-SC669S (Canada). It is not very fast to heat. 1 1/2 minutes on PL10 with 8 ozs of water and I can hold my fingers in it. The unit this replaced was the very same but older of course and I am sure it was allot faster than that. Any comments? Thanks.. PS; the cord comes straight out the back of the plug on this unit so it forces you to place the unit farther out from the wall if the plug is behind the unit. I suppose this isnt an issue if you are able to maintain the 3" ventilation space or if the plug is off to the side but ours is built in. On our old one, same make and type, the cord was at right angles so you could place the micro closer to the wall. Just saying.
Does it have one touch functionality? Its annoying to have to press 1-0-0-start for 1 minute. And even for 30 second button.. 30 sec-start for it to begin
Good video. Just a hint from a pro…use a tripod or prop your camera against something. Frees up both hands. Plan your shot ahead of time…use different angles.
I hate this microwave because I keep it unplugged all the time but every time I plug it in I get all 8s across the clock and the buttons don't work basically it only works when it wants to, no matter what I try it won't let me make anything because there's all 8s in the clock and even when I hit reset it won't reset .
So does anyone know why Panasonic "doesn't" want you to place the microwave next to an oven? Where else am I going to put it. I want an legit reason, can anyone help.
Lol I'm scrolling through the comments and just got mine, so the manual says to press the Function button, then press 6, then press 2 for model NN-T945SF
Ryan Ho... there is a clear plastic film that comes over the microwave buttons! Lol. Most people dont realize this until it starts to peel off from use. My daughter has the same microwave and I just told her the same thing! Take it off! She refuses though. Hahaa
Why would you want to mute it? Are you literally standing there waiting for it to count down? It’s a reminder that your food is done so stop being a lazy wank and go eat your food like a normal person.
There is a mute function. It's great since I tend to be a night owl & like a snack while hubby is sleeping. **You have to set it after plug in** so if you've already set it up, unplug & plug back in. Instructions are on page 8 of my pamphlet. Press start twice - it'll display 'beep' - then press timer - it'll say 'ON', press timer again for 'OFF'
I have an older model NN SD 980S and dealing with the door latch issue. I leterally have to slam the door to get it to start as it's not latching properly. This video explains how to fix it. th-cam.com/video/Vh3eeWRckH0/w-d-xo.html Wonder if this model develops the same issue over time?
Hi I buy one but it not heating and the set time only run for 1/2 the time given. I take it back to the store they try another one and the same problem question do I did need to set the clock first?
Thanks for reply back but i change it to the NN-SC678S BUT I LIKE THE OTHER ONE BETTER IF I WAS WORKING FINE BUT ONE HAS NO PROBLEM SO FOR IT WAS VERY FAST THANKS AGAIN
Does it spin? If not, it’s one of the door relay switch. Move the door around to see if it the turntable starts spinning. I shimmed the door up and it worked. Mine is 1 1/2 years old. Gives me time to figure out what to do and see how my extended warranty using my Cisco Visa card covers.
I just bought this microwave and it doesn't warm up. It turns and it shots down automatically. I have followed instructions but still nothing. Its irritating I'm returning it.
Clicked the power settings down to 5 and then added the time5:30. Oven goes down to 5 and then starts the time and looks like the power settings dosent work. Any help ?
Any microwave with a turntable does not cook evenly. The only thing you have to look at to tell if a microwave will cook evenly is whether or not it has a turntable. The turntable only exists because it does not cook evenly. Without a turntable, you can put your food in there however you want and it will always cook the same way.
I have one of these models for over 10 years and it's powerful and defrosts well. NO issues with, best micro I've owned.
thanks for sharing!!
Was hoping you would demonstrate the inverter technology, which is the main selling point of panasonic microwave.
Homeboy went with Salmon to microwave, thank god its his own house and not in a lunchroom, because if it was a lunchroom that’s a punt in the nuts.

You didn't answer the question as to how to use the power level.
I have had two panasonic inverter microwaves and both of them went out, stopped working after 3-4 years. I expect more from panasonic.

PP (no.5) plastic is the safest to microwave but of course ceramic or glass are way better.
