Well that was bloody great because for two reasons Dave, I haven't been to a gala on this railway since the late 90s so it was good to see footage from around the stations as I know there are not many places out in the countryside you can get to.
Also it was good to see three class 50s at a station.
Maybe I should give it a go next year, cheers Mike.

Thanks Mike,not been there before so was a step into the unknown,did some research on google earth which showed limited places to film.The only real place was the foot crossing and there was a note on the website that the farmer would take action against trespassers! So around the stations it was & not too bad as you can see,would have preferred to go on Friday but the weather wasn’t as good as Sunday.Nice to see 3 50’s, a Stratford 47 & a 59 but did like the triple shunters.Cheers Dave

The triple Gronkage on brake vans was amusing. I like how they all have slightly different tone whistles.
But goodness, i think 08288 needs looking at before long. 🤔

Only trouble with the 59/20 doubleheader is that with the 20 coupled inside as brake adapter, you can barely hear the 59
