How long was your day today? What’s your typical time frame at these ages? Just curious. My boys are much younger and we usually finish by noon or so if we start at 9
@@kasial4587 Hi Kasia! This day we schooled for about 5 hours. When they were younger, we were also done by lunch. I’m guessing a typical day for us this year will be between 4-5 hours 😉
Oh my gosh the choking first aid is such a good idea! My daughter 12 was just coughing on a graham cracker piece the other day & it was terrifying. I totally spent that night reviewing first aid stuff myself! B/c you learn it but then you second guess yourself in the moment! Luckily she was totally fine + we are a minute from a prompt care anyway but first aid is something we now are going to review every so often. I am loving seeing the high school homeschool b/c we are on that path in just a few years!
We're pretty eclectic. The youngest is in 10th and he's using TGATB for LA/Writing/Art/Geography, Shormann for Algebra 2, My own curriculum for Bible and Life Skills, and then several other subjects at co-op using their requested curriculum (Chemistry, Spanish II, Consumer Math, Consumer Programming, and Speech)
