- What was I thinking with this run. Getting up at an ungodly time in the morning to hit the trails to watch the sunrise might sound like a crazy time, but boy I am glad I did! Had an absolute blast being out with the Arizona Bronco group again! Being able to send the drone up at the top of the mountain to get the sunrise shots was exactly the reason why I dragged myself out of bed! My 21 Bronco Sport Badlands held like a champ too! Done this trail before, felt comfortable but figured a night run would be different. Overall, would do it again in a heartbeat! Well maybe.. It was an early morning after all!

In love with your Bronco Sport! Just picked up a badlands one, with those tires did you need to do any trimming?
That’s awesome! Congrats on the purchase, you’ll love it! Yes, there definitely was a lot of trimming to fit these tires. The custom front and rear bumpers help clear space for them to fit. I can not take create for the work though, that was done by Baja Forged!

What size lift and tires do you have?

wait..what's the purpose of putting your spare back there and leaving the spare space empty inside your truck. is that for looks? can you share a link and price of that spare tire rack/mount?
I put it on the back for both looks and functionality. Since I have custom bumpers that allow for more room, I have some of the largest tires for Bronco Sports at 265/65 R17 tires. They ended up being too big for the wheel well inside my trunk. The spare the car came with was much smaller at 225/65 R17.
I also liked the look of the spare on the back since it’ll resemble the full size broncos too. The other locations for it was the trunk, but I lose cargo, or on a roof rack, but then I lose the chance for a roof top tent. Only real problem is I lose my reverse camera. The Hitchgate pretty much blocks the whole thing.
The Hitchgate was the Solo High Clearance.

@@dustinwjohnson thank you! So did you buy 5 wheels since you have this one as spare? how does that work since most places sell a set of 4 wheels/tires? also could you share how to mount the tire on roof rack and what kind of roof rack for that purpose? thank you again and keep up the great work!
@@jh276 the wheels and tires were already on the car when I purchased it back in May. I was able to order the fifth full size spare alone from discount tire. I was able to order both wheel and tire from them!
When it comes to mounting your spare on a roof rack, I do not know what mounts there are for it. I just know I’ve seen photos online of people who have a spare on a roof rack. Also there are some good options for roof racks. I would recommend the Yucca Manufacturer rack, or the JCR off-road rack!
