Thats intresting ! Its similar to us doing Ghusul a bath or shower after our period is finished before we start our 5 daily prayers again.
Same after the blood you lose after childbirrh
Also when you have intimacy you perform a ghusul otherwise you cant Pray.

@@grumpycrumbles7360Please dont mix up supplications and ritual Prayer. The 5 Daily Prayer we cant prax during Period which is a blessing cause we get to sleep longer in the morning. During Ramadan the Rest of Family prepares Breakfast and the menstruating Women can sleep and rest.
supplications is called Dua and this you can do anytime and anywhere you want, except when you are sitting on the Toilett. Alot of People think we dont speak to God at all during Period and thats not true.

I'm still in my conversion, my father was from Jewish birth parents, but his amazing adopted parents were Christian. My mom was Christian as well, but for me personally I feel like I am Jewish. I am studying now, some day when I learn enough I hope to go into the Mikvah and finally be officially Jewish.

If having a period is considered a loss of potential life, how do Jewish people feel about abortion?
After Roe v Wade was overturned, I saw many Jewish women online say that in Judaism, abortion is their religious right. Which I can understand maybe if the mother’s life is endangered. But if the abortion is just a personal choice bc the baby is an “inconvenience”- how is that perceived?
Just wondering if that’s the case or not if anyone could shed light on that. Thanks!
