Our daughters is about imagining a fatherly love towards all women and the rites of manhood towards developing an empathic consciousness for each others well being.
I’m surrendering to a much more improve style approach to releasing these songs. Stepping out of my own way and embracing the current of the moment. Cancer full moon energy. Family love and protection. Spiky emotions between close family and friends. Kinda vibe. Putting this out into the universe at this time to tell a story of strength in the masculine ideals of fatherhood. I have not seen an easy father’s life in all my life. Children are a handful. I’m a handful. I can’t blame parents for being stressed out all the time.
The nervous system is hardwired for parenthood. High stress loads to love, support, and adore a child with a person you behold yourself to with admiration and deep understanding. The nervous system mobilised to love and support each other is a healthy nervous system. When adding too much pressure on to the nervous system our proprioception can not sense ground. Grounding embeds us in a shared sphere of presence. I personally enjoy ungrounded people. They’re interested in a lot of things like me and it’s a divergent presence. Grounding’s convergent presence brings our awareness into our immediate senses. I notice it sometimes as a spontaneous place of now. It is the happening and when I choose to let it unfold authenticity I find something new and speaking to a collective story that is some when in the heart of time.
