I recently bought the Rose Quartz and the Mercury Retrograde, I think the only mini obsessions I didn't buy were the neon one's which at my age 58 I thought were a bit too out there for me, but in saying that I do love to keep myself looking young (but not mutton dressed as lamb) I just think age is a state of mind. The mercury retrograde palette is so beautiful! Everytime I used it my eyes would water so I think I was sensitive to one of the ingredients. Decluttered it but it was so beautiful 😢💗

I have the Huda Beauty Rose Quartz and Naughty Nude. I love them so much. I was wanting to get the Pat McGrath Huetopian Dream for Christmas. Maybe I will get the Mercury Retrograde for birthday if it is still around.
I don't have the rose quartz, yet, but I have the Mercury retrograde and it is my favorite. So versatile, so worth the money, love every single shade!!! As far as the obsessions, I would love to see huda bring back the smokey obsessions and mauve obsessions because mine are very old but I love them so so much. That silver in the smokey obsessions is the best and the black in there is one of the best black mattes ever!
I've just bought the ND Glam, Retro and Bronze (i restarted my makeup collection because my palletes were too old etc- and I'm basic too😄) i thought the Rose quartz was not shimmery for work but i think you changed my mind. i still LOVE the color story for the desert dusk. however mines from the first release and when ig got it, it was already dry, flaky and. powdery for the mattes and the sorta sequin shades. its just very dry. i havent thrown it away though because i love the idea of it, the colors and the packaging, but honestly only the third color in the middle row is a good quality shade. the rest all fall off my eye and fluff right off the brush.
Same with me. It’s actually my favorite of her color stories and I wish she’d reformulate DD to match the new ones!!! 😭 id repurchase it but I worry about how long it would last again 🤷♀️

Do you know if they ever did reformulate it? I really DO LOVE the color story it just is terrible quality :(
Update! All these replies made me repurchase its 60% off on Huda’s website right now and I’m kinda scared it’ll be discontinued so I grabbed one for like $30cad! Hope it stays good for a while and still hoping she’ll re launch it! Also random rant.. I wish she’d get rid of the gloss/jelly shades and instead do more of the metallic glitter shades like Nebula from the Mercury palette! Like why does no one talk about how innovative THAT amazing shade is and she never did it again?!?! 🔥😭
Omg! I was just about to order the Jaguar palette. I really wanted the Nars Climax holiday palette but I can't find it anywhere 😫 The Jaguar is scratching that same itch for some cool tones. I had my eye on the mercury retrograde palette and then I saw the rose quarz palette and I fell in love 😍 I think it's so much more wearable and I swatched some of the shades, they are so stunning 😍 But I don't have the money to buy it yet 😢
I'm curious to know why you would say that the 9-pan palettes which are made in China would have lower quality than those 18-pan palettes which are made in Italy?
They perform differently, less creamy. Nothing against eyeshadows that are made in China I love a lot of them. But Italian eyeshadow formulas are known to be the best quality, they are the most creamy and buttery and pigmented. ❤️ It’s the same with Pat McGrath she makes some quads in the USA and some in Italy and the Italian ones are better.

I never tried Huda Beauty due to it not being cruelty free but found out the eyeshadow palettes are vegan. So I just recently picked up Huda Obession Wild Jaguar palette because I love the cool tones and the unique shades. And the Mercury Retrograde because of the colourful shades.

I like smokey eyes so the Jaguar palette is probably my favourite. I also like the colours in the Rose remastered as it’s dark and has a black shade. I’m not a fan of light shades though, so I have a pass to the every popular rose quartz palette. It does look nice though
I love the color story of the Desert Dusk palette. But, Rose Quartz was my first large Huda. I then bought Naughty Nudes and Retrograde. Then I bought Desert Dusk for $13…. Thank goodness that’s all I paid because I was so disappointed in the 2 colors I was most interested in (the 2 duochromes). I personally think the gemstone is better than the desert dusk. Lol.
Awww. I was mad I didn't catch that sale.I aways wanted that palette and I have the Bad Habit dupe for it. I wanted for the same shades you mentioned. I purchased some lashes and a liquid shadow that I'm happy with so far from that sale

Now, the other shimmer shades in the real palette are nice. But, I was just so disappointed with the ones I wanted it for. I actually put it in my closet with the palettes I never use. I keep my favorite palettes in a drawer beside my bathroom sink. Lol. So, idk. I wouldn’t feel too bummed for not getting it.

I'm waiting for my rose quartz to arrive, but I love Huda's palettes, especially Naughty and Mercury. I think I'm one of the exceptions, but I like them more than Pat Mcgrath (I bought Divine Rose I, but I didn't think it was worth the difference in value).
Divine rose 1 is more subdued and everyday friendly of Pat’s palette. The best from Huda is equivalent to subdued version from Pat! Her special shades and colour story is just amazing…Always get compliments when I use Pat ….simply sublime!
I have this weird theory that the ones that come out in the fall have a better formula from the ones that come out in the spring. 😂 they are all made in the same place, but for some odd reason the fall obsessions always perform better. 😂😂

Rose Quartz is amazing its my favourite, i like the Jaguar palette it was very different for Huda and i have the new nudes, you can definitely see the difference in formula from the new nudes to the Rose Quartz, i probably won't reach for the new nudes much any more Rose Quartz has definitely taken its place
The only Huda palette I ever purchased was a 9 pan obsession. I think it was Mauve…I hated it and returned it and haven’t tried the brand since. I considered jaguar, but passed based on that experience. Maybe I should give her another shot.
I've purchased Huda palettes for a friend but the only one that I have bought for myself is the Haze Khaki. My issue with Huda is that there are far too many warm tones in every palette and very few true cool tones which are what I prefer. If you're going to put out a make-up range, you really need to cater for everyone. I'm not even interested in purchasing any other palettes from her range as I can get want I want elsewhere. That being said, she has made some lovely palettes, just not ones that I'm particularly thrilled with.
The khaki haze was disappointing imo I have 3 obesessions palettes and this one is the worst. The shimmers almost never pickup even with finger and glitter glue except for the khaki shimmer🥲 The jaguar one though😍😍😍😍😍😍
And no1 huda is mercury 😁 It is amazing for me and the new one is nothing interesting to me sorry that is my opinion of it I even like the naughty nude better

Try eBay, Vinted, etc. you can certainly find them cheaper and they show up from time to time. 💙
