    I just want to thank you for being such a professional!!! After watching part of the very first video of yours that I’ve ever seen,I paused the video and went and subbed and hit the notification bell….I don’t do that hardly for anyone…. But after watching your “ Novice Grand Hauler build…..you gave me a ton of confidence and I’m ordering my grand hauler this weekend and I’m going to have to save for some of the killer goodies you have for it…. But I’m definitely going to be buying some!! Back to what I was saying…. Your are very clear, patient, and easy to follow along with and to be honest…. Your the first one I’ve seen that is that good!! A lot of other people are in to big of a hurry seems like and makes it very hard to understand and follow….without having to rewind and watch it several times…anyways…your awesome! And I’ll be following along kind sir🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

    Thanks so much for sharing your build techniques, your projects are always impressive and inspiring! I’m definitely going to borrow your speaker mounting idea for my King Hauler. I crammed everything into the sleeper to keep a full cab interior, moving the speaker forward will make it a lot easier to tidy up the electronics.

    @BlueDually4x4 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That is a lot of stuff to get shoe horned into the cab. But you are giving me a lot of ideas on how to fit all the electronics in the cab of a Bruder truck I am slowly working on converting to RC. Is the vibration unit adjustable? Poor truck shakes like it is about to throw a rod.

  • @MatthewJorgensen1968
    @MatthewJorgensen1968 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Its best to mount the vibration unit to the chassis so you don't break the plastic... But your mounting idea is great thinking outside the box!!

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @crazyc636

    Would you consider shorting some of the wires to save more room and make things more tidier then just using zip ties?

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Generally I never cut the wires unless I have to extend them. As I go along I will neaten up the wiring a lot but at the early point is is useless as so many more wires to come.

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC

      Estimate about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. 2200mah Lipo

  • @jlast450
    @jlast450 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Quick question Bob, what are your thoughts on using something else other than a Tamiya MFC to save some space and use a larger capacity battery? Like Beier SFR-1? It's same like the MFC but you can change the sound to a specific engine like Peterbuilt, Kenworth etc, unlike the MFC which has one stock engine sound. And it looks much more compact also.

      @garymurphy5133 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jake, I am new to the hobby with 2 Tamiya trucks, Scania 620 with mfc. second is a grand hauler and I thought the mfc was expensive for what it does, so bought a beier sound/light unit. boy is that sucker complicated! its the led wiring that as me beat. never finished the build.would love to see a vid on the beier, there is none on YB in English,lots of german.

    • @DrDiff952
      @DrDiff952 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would reccomed the SFR-1. LiPo compatability which Tamiya lacks, True realistic sounds recorded from 1:1 scale trucks and NO SHAKER! GT power does offer LiPo compatability with generic sound.
