This is maybe not what they had in mind, but the arrangement is one way to celebrate the piece, the fans' passion for the music they love - it is our deepest appreciation for the melodies and ambiance of "Surrender". Although i like the song and the cover was great, i dont think they understood the meaning of the song, this song is suppose to be really sad, about being friend-zoned, loving someone who doesnt love you back or doesnt feel the same way, i feel like they mis-interpreted the meaning of the song, especially from the bridge to the end its a happy sounding song when its suppose to be completely opposite, all in all it was a good cover.

But theres one thing, Surrender is suppose to be a sad song, i dont know if you've analysed the lyrics but this is suppose to be a song about getting "friend zoned" and not being able to date the girl you love, and i think in this case you made the song sound happy (in my opinion), which may not be a bad thing but the true feeling behind this song is heart break, i just thought i'd let you know, but all in all it was a great cover good job
what the heck do you mean with "true potential"? so you want to say that classic music is the only type of real music and the rest doesn't have "true potential"? i hope that you do know that ian and ben wrote that song themselves so they put their heart into it and that any other singer and/or band wouldn't be able to perform it as well as BT because they definitely know the meaning of that song. the is no "true potential" in music, everyone has to decide for themselves what they like. thanks
