Moral of the story: don’t overthink praying. It’s having a conversation with God. And God always listens. He is an active listener. If your thoughts are coming from the heart and are genuine and sincere, He listens and answers in some fashion according to His Will, Purpose and Plan for each individual life.

Most of the time I feel as though I don’t have the ability to pray as I should or in a manner worthy of our Lord, but I have learned that the Lord is more concerned with, as you said, the sincerity of our heart when we pray 🙏🏻 than the words we use….I know He understands us, our hearts, our motives & needs better than we do and He does respond to sincere heartfelt prayers no matter how few or sophisticated the words used are, but it will definitely be according to His will & timing & what is best for us & His kingdom…His timing is impeccable….always & in all ways!!
