Thank you so much Jessica, I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and unique stunning piece of artwork. I absolutely love ❤❤❤❤ it, and I’m so amazed by how you captured the emotion and essence of this piece too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
This one makes me think of the winter light, snowy cold temps, Tiffany lamps, cozy warm fire and time to reflect and recharge with creative time. Thank you for sharing!
To be honest it was the size of your leftover bins that made me relax because I was beginning to fret I was holding on to too many scraps! Thank goodness I'm not the only one. Your collage was lovely, and in the end your page turned out beautifully. Great job and thanks for sharing your process.
I love your freedom as you collage.! It is truly something unplanned but as you finished I could tell how you were feeling that day! Bravo! Glad I found your channel!
You’re art makes me smile even if you aren’t pleased with it it’s beautiful and free. You’re very talented and accomplished, keep on creating an listening to your soul.
Ooooh there went the cake pop hahaha! It’s mesmerizing watching you create. Reminds me of watching my husband creating a beautiful vase on the pottery wheel and when it was almost finished he took his hand and completely flattened it because he didn’t like it😲. But there is more beauty right around the corner. I love how this turned out! You are amazing!👍❤️
3am. My day is full of inspiration already. You are such a gift as I watch mundane inanimate supplies come together in a magical process to produce wonderment and glee. Thank you once again!
Love the outcome and the sentence that was meant for me... What I don't like, I cover up... I'm most of the time afraid of doing that and not so satisfied with the outcome. I'm going to try!
Thank you so much 🙏🤗💗 practice and more practice and you will get there and don’t be afraid. There are more papers in the shop and everyone was once a beginner. Remember to have fun 🤗🌸
Bonjour, J’aime beaucoup votre réalisation. La profondeur apportée par vos couleurs et les traits de crayon est superbe. Je m’abonne! Merci pour votre partage. Belle journée 😊
Good evening 👋😊 JA 🌹 Very Nice 👍 journal spread today and the quote is so very true also thank you for sharing your video stay safe and be careful 🙏✍️🖌️🎨💌🌹👋☺️🌹 and enjoy your week ahead too 👍🦄
I also love seeing the process. I wish I could be as free and fluid, then again I am just starting, here's hoping it comes. Thanks for sharing your inspirational work.
It will come I promise but it takes time. It comes with experience and lots of ugly art mixed with happy accidents. Thank you 🌸 have fun is most important
@@JessonArt Hello from Arizona! I've been watching your channel and love it! I'm a water color painter but have always love the journal pages like yours. So I tried one today. Meh. Then I watched this one and saw how you just put stuff down like the cake pop then covered it up. I think I will get the hang of it with lots of practice and ugly turn-outs as you have said. I'm a black/white thinker so I'm hoping that this will work in my favor of making decisions to keep it or cover it up so to speak. Thanks for your videos. I'm binge watching them!♥️🥰
Same feeling everyone gets when they just starting, including me and I still get those ugly pages that feels “meh” but most of the time I cover up and keep going until I like it. Sometimes I just leave the page as is, I’m okay with ugly pages nowadays. My first art journal is filled with not so wonderful pages and a few I really love. But is fun looking back and seeing how much I have grown. Keep going, you will get there and try to enjoy your journey 💗🙏🤗
Absolutely stunning! Love the subtle colour palette and watching how it all comes together, from a random start! I ❤️ collaging too! Greetings from Melbourne, Australia.
I just saw some of your art on Instagram and immediately came to TH-cam to watch your videos. I love this and the color in it. Came out amazing. So fair to say I subscribed to your channel. 😃
Just subscribed to your channel, your videos are so relaxing and creative, I can’t believe TH-cam recommendation didn’t come up sooner. I’m thinking of starting art journaling for therapy purposes, what do you recommend as a good “journal” book base to start with? Something spiral bound or hard bound? I know I’ll be doing tons of wet media to learn the materials first, so anything that would handle lots of water is a good idea. Thanks! Look forward to seeing the rest of your videos! Gonna start binge watching to get caught up.😉😊
Thank you so much 🌹choosing a journal is very personal. I think trying different is the best way of learning what you like. Personally I don’t like spiral bound. When I started art journaling I used old books bought in thrift stores, it was less intimidating to use an old cheap book. I used a lot of sprays in the beginning and gesso was my go to for priming my pages to hold up for the water. If you feel like spending some more money, choose a book with watercolor paper or mixedmedia paper. The thing to watch out for is seeping through the spine if you use a lot of wet mediums. Use a painters tape in the middle.
When I started art journaling I used old books found in thrift stores, normally I glue 2-3 pages together depending on the thickness of the pages. This square journal is an Arteza watercolor book with already thick pages and I don’t glue pages together. I have also tried another format for an authentic art journaling book and I bought a new square one from another company. It really depends on what you like, you have to try to find out what you like. If you are a beginner it feels less intimidating to use an old cheap book, that was at least my experience.
Gesso is for priming you page, especially important when you are using wet medium. Gel medium is for gluing but also for other purposes. How ever sometimes I use gesso just because it’s convenient and it works for me. There are also clear gesso but not all gesso works for gluing.
3:19 - just realised your artwork has numbers 7777 on them- I'm taking thus as a AMAZING sign from the Universe- thankyou UNIVERSE. 777 means miracle is on the way you are being downloaded with new information- and 7777 means even MORE amazing
I love that you show how you alter the parts you aren't satisfied with!
Thank you so much 💗
Absolutely love where this ended up. Beautiful. Trust the process.
Fantastic. I often toss pieces away that aren't working out. You inspired me to keep on keeping on! Thank you!

So many changes from the beginning, - I'm amazed. It is beautiful.
I loved watching your process. (And it also reminded me that I can use Gesso as a glue.) I loved the addition of the acrylic inks.

Yeah that happens in the process 🙈😅a bit pity I really liked the cake pop but it wasn’t meant to be. Thank you so much 🌹
I love scraps in collage. I liked the dragonfly, though.

Bonjour, j'aime beaucoup 😊, au début de la vidéo c'est avec du gesso que tu colles tous tes éléments ? Merci
Thank you💗yes, white gesso the papers are sticking to the wet medium but gel medium is a better choice if you want to be sure the papers stick.
I couldn't be abl to cover up all these cool papers like that. Id feel is such a waste
It’s all about a creative process and sometimes the end result isn’t what you expected and papers get covered up. 🤷😅
You're amazing! Can you please tell me what you stamped the words onto?
It looks like the words were stamped on vellum.
@@kristineblack7041 Thanks Kristine!
Thank you so much. Actually it’s not vellum just ordinary parchment paper the one I use in my oven.
@@JessonArt Thank you!
Can you tell me What kind of journal you use? do you glue pages together from an old book? Did you buy that Journal or is it a Random book?
When I started art journaling I used old books found in thrift stores, normally I glue 2-3 pages together depending on the thickness of the pages. @@JessonArt Thank you ok , it helps, youre awesome🥰
Why did you use gesso for gluing as opposed to Matt gel medium? I get confused about these two products! Does gesso act as a glue also?
Gesso is for priming you page, especially important when you are using wet medium. Gel medium is for gluing but also for other purposes. How ever sometimes I use gesso just because it’s convenient and it works for me. There are also clear gesso but not all gesso works for gluing.

What is the music you’re playing
It’s free music from TH-cam studio to use in videos.
Why do you call this intuitive art journaling? Just curious.
I’m following my intuition, choosing what feels good in the moment and continuing until I’m happy with it with no plan at all in the beginning
