@@jacobdavis1450 I read, that the director of the game was very inspired by the original Red Dead Redemption when creating Ghost of Tsushima, so i would like to think, that it is a direct reference to Red Dead Redemption.
When I played just few days ago for the first time Ghost Of Tsushima. I usually while traveling played flute. I didn't even realize that it could change the weather. I was like oh rain stops. What Coincidence. Until I read playing song can change the weather. Well I'm an Idiot.
Still wish that there was a mode that, after 100% your run there’d be a peaceful version of the island where you could ride around and play your flute.
Not only that but another interesting historical factor is that the Mongolian invasion ultimately failed because harsh storms in the region of Tsushima caused almost their entire fleet that sieged the island to sink. I think it’s a cool little nod / Easter egg to that
The guren song from.naruto is from a traditional.japanese song that was really played on a leaf. So it sounds exactly the same but it's pretty much the same.
Do ya'll remember the last mission where you had to wait for Shimura to arrive? That song that jin played was so nice tho. I watched this video to see if you can have it :')
Turboman 2244 Upon closer inspection, I see your point. Traditionally, though, individuals who played in this manner were known as the Komuso, or “priests of nothingness”. They wore such baskets over their heads while playing the flute and receiving alms. Furthermore, some of them were former samurai who used the flute itself as a weapon to protect important goods such as scrolls and other things.
A peaceful music has one instrument and the rest is just birds chirping and the wind flowing while you play...
That why it's called true music
Lament of the Storm sounds like a part of Ghost's theme
Sounds more like the yarikawa mission theme.
Its more to Yarikawa battle theme
Its "shurai" the yarikawa theme that plays.
0:44 that's the Red Dead Redemption soundtrack "Born Unto Trouble"
Most western movies are based off of japanese film so naturally the soundtrack were very similar, I'm sure both games have the same source material

You guys are so awesome thank you so much for this discovery
I love this part
Only the first tune is there, the rest are original.
1:28 whoa! That timing with the thunder! I swear that only happens by accident.
Actually, flute can change the weather.
@@kbk239 that's kinda the whole point of it...

Especially when you play the thunder storm song right before you assassinate a whole mongel camp using thunder to mask your kills ;)
I sampled 'suns warm embrace' into a lofi song and it became one of my best songs ever! :D
Nah lofi will ruined it especially their stressful hip hop beats!🤧
Link please?
@@brininja_ I think he just made a personal remix of it. I don’t believe she’s posted it online yet.

For some odd reason when 0:44 starts it sounds like the battle music from Naruto.
Sasukeeeeeee
Lol so agreed
Its from RDR2
@@NyanarchyyIt's rdr1.
(0:45) I just like that part in general
Thank for the upload
The flute of Tsushima
I wish the music and weather played a bigger factor in the gameplay!
It does
Depending on your play style the more you stealth kill the more stormy the island will be and vice versa it reflects jin sakai's inner state
Not only that but another interesting historical factor is that the Mongolian invasion ultimately failed because harsh storms in the region of Tsushima caused almost their entire fleet that sieged the island to sink. I think it’s a cool little nod / Easter egg to that
it does, the more you become the ghost, the harsher the weather is when you fight mongols
0:45 This sounds like naruto's theme song
Man, why can't we play the flute song from Okada Farmstead, even though your character will play it after a side mission with Norio in Act 3...
I've been looking for the name of that song for so long now
@@niallmilt02 If you're referring to the flute I was talking about, it's the around 7:20 of the official soundtrack called "Seiiki" (Tsushima Suite V)
0:45 reminds me of nate's theme, from uncharted.
Yeah I realised now
Fun fact you can play the flute during combat and still dodge it’s perfect for clowning on the mongols
Am I the only one that thinks 0:44 is in naruto?
Yep 😂
Lmao it sound like it is

Wish we didnt have to keep swiping to keep it playing
Yeah they should have let him play the full song.
It's endless in legends mode at least. But it's changes songs though.
This is so cool✨✨
Wish they make it longer

No its shurai the yarikawa theme.

Imagine if someone made a trap remix to these flutes 😏
How does he play the flute if he’s wearing a straw hat?
What
Opening underneath.
Ray Diaz but in the video clearly you can see him playing it through the hat.
