Great video - Tony and amir certainly know their stuff and are great guys with it. I swear by koi water barn - a great place. I was lucky enough to take two of the omosako shiro tosais and am chuffed with them. Best Wishes 👍🏼
@@TheKoiPartner Ahh I see, I assumed it was the first ray on the pectoral fins as well, but wasn't sure. Thought maybe it mean't if a koi has sumi in the "first ray" of its pec fins that the motoguro wouldn't finish nicely maybe?
Shiro has always been my favourite. Unfortunately had to sell all my Koi when I moved to Australia in 2007.

I’ll ask Tony for some extra info about that, I need to be honest that I am not sure. But I think he means in the first ray of the fins
