Phil talking about his days off is like listening to an eight year old child describe what they think their parents do when they go out to do "adult stuff".
He deals with an overwhelming amount of imposter syndrome and definitely overcompensates with his employed adult with a family act. It's REALLY petty and silly 😂
It's because Phil is a 8 year old kid in the body of a middle aged man. His entire LARP as a "machoore adoolt" is exactly that: "I'm married dood, I got no time, I got a family, I run a business" etc etc. Reality is that he is a big child, eats like one, behaves like one and just like a spoiled child he expects people to do things for him because he exist (from giving him money to play games to cooking for him).

The Doordash story actually pissed me off. Imagine you are a family of hardworking Thai immigrants that just got scammed because some entitled Karen ordered spicy food and got upset that they received exactly what they ordered. Then, this dude literally eats the food he said was too spicy after getting a refund and then orders more food.
Genuinely shameless Karen behavior.
Plus anyone who’s ever eaten Thai food or heard about Thai food has also most likely been cautioned that their standards of spiciness are much more intense than what we’re used to here. It’s old news, a rookie mistake. He should pay for his own ignorance.

If I eat anything like bread or anything but straight meat and I immediately get hit with pain and extreme flu symptoms, also causes states of psychosis and for clarity, I'm a very healthy person and this still happens. I had to change my whole life based on it. Now there are a few things why she gets sick if it's actually real, it's either Lymes Disease, Diabetes, Pots disease, Thyroid disease. The difficult part is pinpointing, there are all specific tests that are covered by insurance and answers you won't get from an emergency room. Also, as for me, I will probably never get better because the only real ''cure'', is a stem cell replacement which costs an insane amount and is voluntary so insurance won't pay for it even though I have full coverage. DD2 was not bugged for Kat, this is a well known "issue" where you didn't do a couple side quests to unlock the new main story. My brother had the same issue and one google search and 2min later he was on his way to fix it.
"Of course people always want to know what happened on your day off" - no, they really don't. Its always the same. You go shopping, you get annoyed at something completely ordinary, you have fast food, usually get annoyed again, the end.
Just a reminder that DSP doesn't care about a games visuals yet it's the only thing he talks about ever. 100% it's because high framerate and good details in a videogame aren't subjective and instead make it possible for him to have something to talk about without committing to an actual opinion himself. Atlus, I'm almost positive the reason you don't get as sick as most people is because of the type of work you do. I used to do landscaping, but am also an HVAC man by trade, and I've heard that working outside and with your hands exposes you to more bacteria than most people, so you build more of a resistance. I think you said your in sanitation, well that surely exposes you to more bacteria. So, you aren't bragging or crazy, there's a reason for you seeming to not get sick as much as most people, and I am the same way.
There is a good possibility that it's related. I have always had a decent immune system my whole life though, so maybe I'm just super immune now

Just to clear this up, Activision leaving Destiny 2 had very little effect on the game. In fact, Bungie put out the worst expansion after the split, and the monetization got even worse. They made some good QoL changes, but not like Activision left and then the game got good. People have been pretty upset with Bungie for a long time now
21:00 For the record, Destiny 2 dropped in 2017 and after the Activision split, Bungie made Destiny 2 free to play in early 2019. Now granted, a lot can happen in a year. But I'm not about to believe this game had Bungie's inhouse development exclusively for 4 years, and it had no story or enemy variety the entire time, and only got it in the last year.

Edit: I also want to add in that comment Phil said about FFXIV getting better over time is a complete ignorant hot take from him. That whole thing was over a decade ago and that game was rebuilt from the ground that you can hardly compare the OG FFXIV to FFXIV A Realm Reborn. There hasn’t been a time during the FFXIV ARR life cycle that the game dipped down low and then rose back up to prove Phil statement accurate. So all I can say is whatever Phil said is completely outdated.
