  • 🔥 Meet Linda, a 24-year-old passionate tattoo apprentice putting in over 30 hours a week, yet not earning a dime from it.
While she aspires to own a business someday, her current financial habits are steering her away from her goals. Living off her server salary, Linda's spending choices are far from what's needed to build a future business.
In this show, we'll explore practical, straightforward ways Linda can start turning her financial life around. From budgeting basics to smart spending habits, and maybe even a side hustle or two, we're covering it all. But the big question remains - will Linda take the action needed to transform her financial future?

I really like that you push for pet health insurance. It's important that people get that before their pets reach the age cutoff. (Her dogs might be too old.)

If you can manage to live within means you are doing okay. My living space is under 400sq. But it's nice, I know neighbors, it's safe and very habitable.

i'm an older person (retired)... i do like how the "younger" generations don't base their self-identity on money BUT somehow they fail to conceptualize that money is a tool (that doesn't mean the persons with the most tools wins though ... you need balance to win and each generation decides their own balance)... having money and financial discipline means that a person is responsible and thoughtful and conducts their lives according to their personal and individual needs/goals within the "community rules and ethics" (that's important as cheating, lying and stealing is wrong by the entire world) by using their skills, knowledge, and abilities (ska) ... and yes, those persons with the most ska usually have more money (tools) but that's because they have been the persons that have been thoughtful and self disciplined and the whole world considers that is a good thing....this channel showcases the methods and habits of being thoughtful and self-disciplined ... this is an important message... by the way... the statement about her mother and cars... well, that reminded me of an old song "stacy's mom" by fountains of wayne... may the young lady also have her day in the sunshine like her mom

Romain, I like your videos because you interview people who are different or unusual, yet relatable. It helps people to buy into the video. Now it is time for Get to Know Your Host! Tell us about your heritage. Were you born in the USA? If not, where, and when did you move to the USA?

To answer your question I was born in France, had the chance to study in Switzerland, lived and worked in Europe and Asia (Thailand) for multiple years. Ultimately moved to the US 10 years to give a fair shot at the American Dream. I am passionate on how to master the personal finance game and want to share my learning/ and learn through those real stories 👍

I have so much hope for this hard working young lady. She can do monk mode when she needs to. Thanks to dad for the example. I hope she gets health insurance and stays healthy. In the budget breakdown did you include health insurance premiums in the needs? It can be so expensive to pay premiums and deductibles and co-pays, and coverage exclusions can still be very, very expensive. Hopefully her low income qualifies her for some subsidies on health insurance.

Her income is so low based on the amount of hours she’s working. Wow, $3.60 in savings and $68 in checking account and she’s quite calm about it, fair play to her. I doubt the reason her mom got a free car is because she’s hot but okay.
