If anyone can find the made for (TV) movie Called ( KILL Dozer) a great cast of Actors The finale fight between the power shovel and the D niner, is worth watching. It's about a outer space Rock that gets in blade and starts going after all the workers on a remote island. The remote control system for movie is amazing how they made it run by itself.
The new D11s may not have as many shanks, but theirs are bigger and used to rip rock in mines. As much as I hate to say it, I don't think those old D9s will be pulling those 3 shank rippers in rock at any real depth.
ho sentito da qualcuno che il d9 è una macchina datata e in caso di rotture i pezzi di ricambio sono difficili da trovare o addirittura introvabili in quanto la cat non darebbe più l'assistenza per macchine così vecchie; se fosse vero è una vergogna e se io fossi il proprietario di un d9 mi guarderei bene nel sostituirlo con un altro della Caterpillar ma mi rivolgerei alla concorrenza.

It was a brand new D9g in the movie.
Dozers would be a lot more productive if they didn't back up so much.

Do you see where they are working, it's the side of a mountain. Probably a logging road. NO way to turn around. It's a cliff on one side for sure.
