The category isn't "no item"; it's "no item button". So you're allowed to pick up items that auto-equip, but you can't (for example) throw daggers.

アイテム無しではなくてアイテムボタン未使用。
このゲームはRPG的要素があるのでファイナルファイトとかにあるジャンプと攻撃ボタン以外にアイテム選択とアイテム使用というボタンがあってショップなどで手に入れたアイテムを状況に応じて使用することができるのですよ。
