Please bear in mind that changing the pitch of the entire beat will also mean that any pre mix decisions before the pitch shift will have to be re done particulary eq as eq is based on pitch.

im pretty sure the scale intervals for the chords are: minor i, diminished ii, major VI, and dominant V where the 3rd of the chord is borrowed from the harmonic version of the D minor scale.

Is there any explanation to how the progression was developed? I see that the A Dominant 7 works well to lead back to the D Minor 7. Is there any logic to how the E Minor 7 b 5 and Bb Major 7 were added

@@kinaykinay3610 let's take a c 7th minor chord for example. if you remove the 7th (the a#) then you get a basic c minor. but if you remove the c instead, then you get a d#major chord. so a c 7th minor is a cminor and a d#major chord in one
@@KRISTIJAN63 yes, in simple terms, when you remove root note from min7th chord you'll get the relative major of the minor chord

He described these chords quite poorly. It's Dm7 Em7b5 Bbmaj7 A7. The E is a half diminished chord and the A is a dominant chord.
