brilliant thank you so much for posting, have a husky generator about 4 years old ran twice sat for 2 years couldn't start it, took apart the carb cleaned it with carb cleaner put it back together still no start then came across your video and about 2.26 minutes in when you show float hole in slo mo that did the trick for me... took it apart again cleaned the hole where the float goes and also side hole on main jet and all set runs like a champ didn't even take out the float
ita all a matter of how bad i't clogged . i hade to show all possible issues for the viewers since allthough i can run it this time , somone else might have it wors 2 it can run like an old champ .. and it can run well , it depands on how clean the is the carburator
Great video. Kinda wished you woulda talked tho so I can roll a fattie and smoke. Great song too whoever that was. But hey I got a UST 5500 and it sat for a year and a half or more in las Vegas (hot n dry) . an I dont know if u know the gen. but the bottom of the carb has some kinda solenoid to some electric wiring. Theres 2 screws (good gold ones) and I stripped one. So I didnt get to clean in there. Now I did clean the hell out of every other part of the carb and gas is going in and when I loosen the side pin one at the bottom gas comes out. So if u could answer this or anybody I would be for ever grateful and will like an suscribe to ya. Send you a lil cash venmo . but I am ready to pick this thing up and throw (try to) it up in the air. It has only 1 hour onit. When it was new an I put gas and oil in it first pull fired like a dream. Please help!?!?!?!
well late is better then never in some cases some comments are harder to replay since the variabals can be unknown what i do know is the bottom bols is a drain bolt and is holding the bowl at the same time on my generator i had to pull down since the rubber gasket was gluing the bowl due to fuel leftovers but i removed only the bottom bolt to remove te carburator bowl now the same stuff ( dry fuel ) can aslo block the fuel narrow pathways sinnce they are pin size holes some times draining the bowl is al it takes and some times you will need a guitar string to run through all the fuel pathways in order to reopen the way for the fuel to flow --- so to sume this issue up it is either moisture(water) or a clogged tar blocking the fuel from reaching the combusion chaimer and preventing proper ignition

on my generator i had to pull down since the rubber gasket
was gluing the bowl due to fuel leftovers
but i removed only the bottom bolt to remove te carburator bowl
now the same stuff ( dry fuel ) can aslo block the fuel narrow pathways
sinnce they are pin size holes
some times draining the bowl is al it takes
and some times you will need a guitar string to run through all the fuel pathways
in order to reopen the way for the fuel to flow

so to sume this issue up
it is either moisture(water) or a clogged tar blocking the fuel from reaching the
combusion chaimer
and preventing proper ignition
Your video did the trick for me, thank you sir!
Thanks alot 🙏
What model generator is this? I have the same carb and airfilter on mine (1000w mastercraft) that i need to replace. thank you :)
just look for a standart 1000w generator carburator . they are all the same for the most part
The music is very irritating.
good video, awful music.... why???
