I think you’ve got home on the range wrong, or at least you’re not using it’s full potential. You can deploy all models with it an inch forward, which stacks per model that has it, so Matt can deploy up to 8” outside the deployment zone. That means for wedge he can start over the centre line for a chunk of the centre of the board. Malifaux March 2020 faq will confirm this.
You are right! Well, that changes things a bit. I know Matt was wary about getting too close on turn one regardless, but that certainly would have changed his deployment. He's going to trounce me next time. Don't tell him.
Important to note: the Illuminated cannot choose to fail the simple duel generated by Kitty Dumont's brilliance saturation. Only opposed duels with friendlies.

Well done, another great report.I think you did the blast damage from Basse wrong. If you inflict weak damage the blast from that only does 1 damage now, I'm sure you took more on the illuminated a few time.
