Hiya Emma, Another great video; thank you. A fun trip, but then all your videos are fun. A good mix of teaching and entertainment, not too much of either. You may need to ask the name of something, but you know what it does and where it goes. So apart from a little bit of whimping out a fully informed film. Stay safe, Steve...
You dont have to run them, but with atrazine you get little chunks, also the upstream filter may be larger. Also flakes may form in tank or boom and break loose and plug a nozzle. A plugged nozzle can ruin an application. Plus they are probably running low rates which means small nozzle orifices, easy to clog.
What’s the deal with those stack planters or whatever they’re called. I’d think they would have to have some kind of advantage but idk what the advantage would be.
Narrow transport for 3pt hitch planters where wide headland, drawbar style planters not used. Swing fold bar like corn not practical for 3pt hitch and stack fold is much better than old style verticle L fold bar. 7i

At 13:50, it's strange that each nozzle needs a filter. A common upstream filter makes sense or no herbicide filter.

Cheaper and lighter weight, you don't have the central seed tanks with the blower and tubing sending seed to the planter units.
Emma what are they spraying behind the planters for cotton
Paraquat I believe
